((I was under the impression that for a skill check in battle you need to do atleast a minor. Also, Aurel has full concealement for a turn. I know because I played him. He can hide in plain sight.))

((You're correct, Perception is a minor. I thought it was a free action. In that case, ignore my list in the last post and I'll do the following:

Minor: Activate Talon Amulet
Minor: Lay on Hands on Karl
Standard: Righteous Smite on SB3

I'm not going to play whack-a-mole when the minions are still up and dangerous with their constant knockdown abilities.))

((I suggest everyone keeps a steady supply of health. Aurel has a double attack that hits pretty nasty. Especially now that he's upgraded.))

((Yeah, I'm definitely making sure to try to keep Karl topped off. Hopefully we can start getting some AoE going off, since that can still hit Aurel without a (at this level) crippling -5 to the attack roll.))

((The one time an entire party doesn't pick ghost eyes, they fight several enemies that go invisible...))
You activate your talon amulet and then heal yourself for (11)hp! You then strike at the behemoth before you! (11+9) you hit, cutting into his flesh! The stitching starts to cut apart as you realize the entire body is all skin. The creature roars in pain as you deal (4+8+4) damage plus (6) radiant! The blue flames lick his wounds, soldering them together as they burn the behemoth's flesh. He the collapses as his stitching falls apart and it collapses into a pile of skin before you. The dark aura that you thought was its real hide disappears.

Shadow Behemoth1 attempts to recharge! He fails to recharge! He shifts over and bites at Nadarr! He hits, dealing (12) damage! Nadarr is in critical condition!

Cromwell begins his turn! He curses the Shadow Behemoth and casts witchfire! (9+6) He hits, dealing (5+4+4+6) fire damage! The beast roars in fury as the flames burn him. The last shadow behemoth is slain in fire! Cromwell teleports into a tree to avoid Aurel.

Nadarr begins his turn! You're in critical condition but not prone

((I made a mistake and Karl was supposed to take (7) damage on his turn. You're still not bloodied but you were on your turn.))

Just make sure he wears a boot.

Nadarr feels the fire building inside him!

He releases an Enlarged Fire Shroud at all surrounding enemies.

He opens the coffin!

If possible he uses Action Point to second wind.

Grab the sword! It may help against the Beasts!

You cast enlarged fire shround! Everything is consumed by fire, but your allies do not feel the heat. (CRIT) you channel the power through your staff of light and hit something! You deal (8+5) fire damage and (4) radiant damage! However, with the intense flames, (?) (?) you set both trees on fire! Whoever stands in the area of the trees takes 1d6 fire damage and has to make a check to make sure they don't take ongonig fire damage. You hear wincing nearby Karl as Aurel is now bloodied! You move over next to the coffin and open it up, and inside is a lot of silver with a bastard sword on top that appears to have an image of a sun on the hilt as well as another journal. You then heal yourself for (7)hp!

Elthia moves up and readies an attack when Aurel reveals himself!

Symon begins his turn! Your oath of emnity appears to be roughly northeast of you.

First things first:

Minor: Perception check to figure out where Aurel is.

Second thing:

The player's handbook says that Close and Area attacks that includes the squares that the target is don't suffer a penalty from the target's concealment. Therefore I should be able to drop Abjure Undead and hit Aurel regardless if my Perception check succeeds or not, correct?

((And you did say that Aurel was undead last I asked, so...

Can I at least the outcome of the perception check first? Don't want to waste actions and junk.))

EDIT: Unless you really want to deal with if-else statements, I guess.

((I was gonig with in general.))
You get a +4 bonus to finding Aurel because of your oath of emnity. (17+11+4) You find out that Aurel is diagonal to you, standing on top of the dead Behemoth corpse. The bootprint in the flesh gives it away.

((Aurel is on the map. He revealed himself.))
((No, he didn't))
