"Do you remember where it was? We should probably go and check that out. Did the killer say anything?"

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Symon blushes a bit, "N-not r-really. It's a b-b-b-bit of a b-b-b-blur..."

"How much control does he really have? If we get into a fight and the moons are wrong, will he change and attack us as well?" Karl asks, taking the vampire comment as a disparagement for Vryloka and ignoring it.

"If we started heading back down the streets, do you think you might be able to remember? This is a murder we're talking about, Symon, something needs to be done about this. This kind of thing can't go unpunished."

((Yes, I am totally trying to take advantage of his beliefs, right now.))

((Mastah, are you trying to drag poor, impressionable Symon into danger? You're a terrible influence! Sorry, did I say terrible? I meant great. Keep up the good work!))

Symon nods firmly, "Of course. I will remember."

"Alright, let's go find this son of a b^$%@."

Head out with Symon to find that street he was at.

((So I'm playing Wizardy 8 with the party based on our characters, and I have to say that this is one of the worst party make-ups I've ever used.

Symon keeps getting near death because priests aren't made for front line fighting, but we don't have a choice because the only other person is Karl, who hasn't been hit except for once, because they all want to kill Symon, apparently.
I didn't realize how powerful thieves are in this game, because Aurel is completely curb-stomping everything that goes hand-to-hand against him.
Cromwell has so little mana that he can only cast maybe 3 times before he's useless, and Weston is only slightly better.
And Nadarr, who was managing the highest damage count solely through his dragon breath, just got killed by a slime.

I'm only like 5 minutes into the game, and I've never done this poorly before.))

You head back to the alleyway. The body is still there as Nadarr left it before

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Carefully examine the body, check for wounds.

"What do you remember about what happened?"

((To be fair, Symon doesn't model correctly in Wizardry. He's a cleric, but his subtype is something like religious berserker. Combat-wise, he'd probably play more like a lightly-armored Lord then an outright Cleric.

Also, everything ignoring Karl to attack Symon sounds disturbingly accurate.))
