@ Symon:
"Eh, I'll explain when you're older."

@ Aurel:
"Good, I prefer it that way. Not much fun in going on a quest if it's all laid out for you in the open, is it? You can't learn anything like that!"

"Eh, I'll explain when you're older."

"I-I'm s-sixteen. T-that's old enough..." Symon mutter morosely.
((Keep telling yourself that... Grot is the same age but its probably older then you are in goblin years))
((It... It talked :o

Update in an hour or so. I can't update without dice and my dice are at home...))

Random.org is your friend in these kinds of situations.
((Also, I can't really work and do this at the same time...))

I'll buy a mount.
HE offers another round of food and brings up the question of mounts again (80gp each).

Symon looks down at his feet and mumbles, "I-I d-d-don't really n-need a h-horse."

*sigh*

"Come on, Symon. I'll get you a horse."

Buys Symon a horse
You buy some mounts from the good barkeep. Aurel buys an extra one so Symon can ride. Aurel also buys another bottle of wine, even though he already still has one barely drunk.

(17+1) You find out that it is a Holy Symbol of Mortality +1.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

(?) Nadarr fails to realize he isn't wearing any pants, and just letting "it" hang about. ((I also realised the cart doesn't hold the 300lbs I thought it did, so Nadarr can also ride with Weston (cause it holds 2000lbs apparently, and its just a different name for a wagon))) You all head outside to start your day, Nadarr still groggy and unaware of his lack of pants. Grot sees you all come out, Nadarr being last, and he just tilts his head to the side with a weird expression. He doesn't say anything and directs everyone to the stables which is at the edge of the center district.

As you walk about town, you all hear mumbles about "no pants" and "letting themselves go", with the odd child slightly shouting "mama, why is that dragonborn-" where they are silenced by their parents. The guards all look the other way, shielding their eyes from the sight. One lady even comments about dragonborn being a little TOO proud. By the time you all make it to the stables, Nadarr realises he has no pants on... Right as he hops into the back of the cart and lands on his bottom awkardly. Grot can only laugh as the dragonborn shouts about his lack of pants. After a bit, the stable boy comes out with an extra saddle blanket and tosses it to Nadarr, saying he'll need it for dignity's sake.

You all then head out of that god forsaken town with haste; you hope you don't find any more "Vryloka".

((Gosh darn it! Too bad we don't have a bard though. They could sing this in game.

The men of lore are sadly gone,
No heroes ride on quests,
But still the bards will search for song
And sing the meanest jests

And so this tale I’ll tell thee now,
But cover up your ears
Against this song of modern truth
In which you’ll meet your fears.

In Tavern old with hoarded gold
The Dragonborn was caught,
And thief of shade relieved him then
Of that which he had sought.

His new-found purse was pilfered through,
To Jazz that Weston chants,
And with that sound Nadarr had lost
His pair of finest pants!

And all the while Nadarr slept well,
A breeze was all he felt,
As into night he slumbered on
Where all the party dwelt.

His scales were bare as morning broke,
Nadarr was unawares,
And up he leapt as stranger spoke
Revealing all his….wares.

Bouchart it was who spoke that morn,
In voice unheard by all,
But none remember what he said
As then Nadarr did call.

They heard his voice and looked around.
There stood Nadarr the Brave!
His pants were off, no underwear
Were seen to shield his Stave!

First time I've written anything of this sort, but a friend hearing about my state of undress asked me to write about it, so here we go. I didn't find it particularly enjoyable to write, though  :-[ ))

((I think I laughed my way through the last two pages.))

Karl hums a drinking tune to himself, the dragonborn's predictiment putting him in an oddly cheerful mood.

Don't worry, Nadarr, if we get accosted by bandits we might be able to find you a new pair of pants." he says in a comforting fashion.

"Honestly, I thought you had meant to walk around without pants. Some strange dragonborn ritual or something of that nature."

Weston shamelessly bluffed.

"I tried to tell you, my friend, but you just wouldn't hear of it. On the bright side, at least there wasn't anything to be ashamed of."

Hum along with Karl & equip the clothes that Weston gave me during a stop.

Weston shamelessly bluffed.
Your bluff succeeds.

You go on about your ways until roughly lunchtime. Most of you didn't eat (Grot hasen't got any rations at all) and decide to stop and rest the horses a bit. You then hear some wheels squeaking from the path you're headed to and hear the sounds of singing and laughter from half drunk men(?). Grot thinks it might be dwarves. You're a ways down enough to not be seen, but there is no cover for you to hide. After a few minutes of waiting, the dwarves (Grot guessed correctly) come down with a couple wagons and a very well dressed dwarf close to their head. They greet you; "Good day to ye fellow travelers! Mighty fine day, is it not?"

Weston raised a hand in a friendly wave.

"Greetings, and a fine day it is indeed! Whereabouts do you travel from?"

"Greetings, and a fine day it is indeed! Whereabouts do you travel from?"
We come from a mountain home not far from here. A little ways east at the base of the Small Teeth mountains."

Inquire to see if they sell anything

((In particular pants :P))
"Why, we have plenty of wares! In fact, we were just headed to Crimmor to sell some of our wares! You're welcome to have a look, my good dragonborn." He notices the lack of pants and pulls out a pair just for you (1 gold).

"Why yes, we do. What kind were you looking for?

And while we're all getting nice an acquainted, may I ask where you are headed to? I pray it isn't through the Small Teeth at this time."

Check what sort of items the dwarves have for sale. In particular, look for minor magical items that might come in handy.

Also look for Ritual Books or Component Pouches.
