"if they only do that to people they can't kill than why don't I ever see it in legends mode?"

"Because those people aren't significant, and that was an old update that you are thinking of."

"Pretty much, yeah. The people who gods smite are mostly blaspheming farmers, enemy soldiers, stuff like that. The people they turn into vampires or therianthropes? Their own priests, the occasional warded adventurer, stuff like that. And, of course, monsters make it into legends much more easily than corpses."

"...Now that you mention it, this headache is probably dehydration. Hold on, I'll look for a stream."

"So... uh... why is it so hard to make a workbench? I mean, at base level, all we really need is a simple table and a few tools... I don't get why it's so hard."

May not have time to really participate until finals are over, but I figured I'd at least post my skill sheet so I don't forget about this. Edited to show an inventory.

Even if you found a suitable opening, I doubt it would prove all too satisfying. And it might leave some nasty wounds, depending on the moral high ground's geology.

((Should I just find one?))

(There should be at least a pond nearby.  You could find Erils near it.)

"So... uh... why is it so hard to make a workbench? I mean, at base level, all we really need is a simple table and a few tools... I don't get why it's so hard."

(Reinforcement for the table so that it doesn't fall through, and having to construct one from scratch that is roughly 3 feet by 9 feet.)

((Also, we don't have any tools to make the tools with.))

I take a bucket and head to a large pond. At a couple dozen feet across, one could almost argue it is a very small, shallow lake. I take a scoop of the water, sip it, and drop the bucket after a fish thrashes at me.
"...Well. We should get a well soon, but this works for now."
I bring the bucket, fish and all, back.
"Hey, I caught dinner. For one of us."

Spoiler: Character (click to show/hide)

PPE: I just noticed the fact that this is supposed to be in late Q4 2014. I'll have to edit a few things. It won't be perfect, though; I'm not psychic.

Get rid of the inventory section, we're being dropped in here with only the clothes on our backs.

Just put what your skills are at currently.  If I went with what it would be then, then quite a few of my skills would be more advanced than they currently are.
