The default arena is flat. However some water fights and obstacles might be put there if the arena masters will come up with a scenario.

Ruins Map: Pillars, rubble, a very hard to get around map without high speed. Couple old traps if we want to get fancy?

Forest Map: Trees, a river maybe, and a couple wolves roaming that are hostile if we want to get fancy.

Desert map: Very open, little cover, dehydration modifier if out of an oasis for 2 turns if we want to get fancy.

Haspen could slowly shrink the map, removing outer tiles as they are replaced with pillars or something similar, and maybe throw in NPC creatures to herd, or pick off, those trying to avoid the fight or are wounded.

I propose that haspen floods the colliseum and does a mock naval battle. With real deaths. It has historical precedence!
