What in freckles is this:Welcome to Fire Emblem on Forums: ARENA
The game is simple: You make a Fire Emblem character, then you go to an arena, fight, die or win, amass gold, buy yourself out or become professional fighter for fun.
For combat rules, skills and other stuff, seek
Ye Olde Players' Handbooke, supplemented by
FEF2 Ruleset changes.
Goal of the game:To escape the arena and rejoin your family far in the province.
You can do this in two ways:
A) Amass 250 coins and buy your freedom from Arena Master
B) Get to Promoted Class lvl10 and retire
Minimalistic Fluff:The Empire lives on and slowly approaches it's ninth century of expansion, warfare, enslavement and wealth. It subjugated many countries in the east, west, beyond mountains to the west and sea to the south.
The slaves often end as houseservants, prostitutes or gladiators. No one is sure if the latest is the worst or best fate the slave can face.
Emperor Cornalius Lucius the Younger have refurbished the Arena and opened it to common citizenry. This brought more attention and wealth than anyone could imagine.
Once sporadic and rare events, gladiator fights flourished and became everyday entertainment as more and more slaves are sent to the adjacent Gladiator School.
Life drama, fight for survival and freedom, romances and betrayals, all this happens here, in a sandy pit where people fight for a living.
In the
ARENA.Character creation rules:As if you're making a new character for a FEF game. You cannot use an character that is already present in any FEF game. You must make new from scratch.
You start as First Class character. The class of your unit must be able to wield weapons, so Bards, Dancers and Priests are not allowed.

2. If your character dies, you can make a new one and join in next battle. Freshmeat always welcome~!
3. If HP drops to
exactly zero, you are knocked out. It means that you
might survive into next battle, just without extra exp... as long as Emperor points his thumb up.
Equipment and Income:After each battle, you are given some coins that you can exchange for new weapon or an item.
Weapons and items as in Player's handbook, but no artifacts, named weapons or anti-class weapons are allowed.

Supports:Well duh. Nothing better than seeing your newfound romance get impaled on a lance or eaten alive by a lion, eh? C:
You can build supports whenever you want, even in combat if you find a moment for that. However support ranks are updated only in-between battles. Remember; no interaction = no support!
Also, whenever your support dies, it is stricken from your sheet; this way your supports won't get clogged as you level up and your companions die horribly in the meanwhile.
Support bonuses
do not apply if your support is your current enemy. Just in case you're wondering.
