  You stride over to the Spectris's table and sit down across from her. A smile appears on her face as she waves at you.
 "Hey, Spectris." You greet her.
 "Hey Violet. How are you?" She asks in an inquisitive manner.
 "Fine, haven't been attacked today yet and I'm trying to save Christmas." You casually respond.
 "Save Christmas?" She says.
 "Yep, from this evil witch." You blankly state as you pull the letter from Santa out your bag and hand it to her. She takes it in hand and glances over it.
 "You need help?" Spectris asks as she slides the letter towards you.
 "Yeah, that'd be nice." You say.
 "Count me in then." She states.
 "Lovely, thank you." You say with a smile.
 "So, you wanna' come to my deathday party?" She asks with a grin planted on her face.
 "...Deathday?" You ask, tilting your head in perplexity.
 "Yeah, the day I died and left an imprint of my soul." She explains.
 "Oh right, ghosts are the imprints of passed souls. They hold parties for that stuff?" You say.
 "Mhm." Spectris nods in confirmation.
 "Sure, I'd love to." You respond. She rummages around her backpack and slides over a small slip of paper.

 Spectris's Deathday Party

January 2nd, 2081

You stand up from your chair to get your food, but Spectris remains.
 "You not hungry?" You ask.
 "I don't need to eat." She says.
 "Right, ghost. Sorry." You say as you enter the lunch line. You go through and get a tray of a carton of milk, some corn, and white mush to eat which tastes like a mix of marshmallows and steak. You  move out the line and sit back down in front of Spectris and begin to chow down.

  You finish your plate and then point out your finger, which promptly glows Violet. You begin to draw a rune of shockwave which should send tremors through the ground to knock people down. You open your mouth to speak to Spectris when an echoed voice whispers inside your head.

 "...Orange comes with intent to win, and will harm Runic Gold again and again..."

The must've been one of those wandering soul things warning you about something. What does it mean when orange comes with intent to win? That would only mean one thing -- Malon is coming to battle you.

 Shit shit shit, one of your opponents is coming to get you and you don't know what to expect. You think that you should make some kind of stylish spell that will surprise her. Of course, mercury and electricity. You quickly draw down the rune onto your arm and stand up from your chair. The orange and furry figure of Malon can be seen entering the cafeteria, fully clad in heavy kevlar on her torso and legs.

 Her armor may be defended from blunt and projectile attacks, but there are some things that will just work. You channel energy into your back right hand, into the rune of Vacuos. You motion towards Malon, but it seems nothing happens. You don't appear to be aiming it correctly, it seems. You motion at her again, this time she quickly looks around, but takes in another breath. Why the hell did your aim get shit all of a s- Oh, right. Relaxation rune. You channel that rune and you appear to get a better aim, but you can't really get precision even with the rune.
 Malon's head jerks towards you and she prepares herself. She stiffens her arms and throws them into the air. An awkward silence ensues until a loud bang his heard.

The table behind you appears to be completely flipped over, people's lunch spilling over and milk pooling the floor. You look back to Malon with an eyebrow raised. She meagerly waves at you in glee. You let out a sigh and shake your head.

  Simple spells such as vacuos will not work. Time for your newest spell to shine, ELECTRIC MERCURY. You move your hand forward and open your palm. With a quick motion you channel energy into your mercury rune and mercury begins to shoot from your palm to form a heavy puddle on the floor which slowly moves towards her as an electric current passes through it. It's pretty slow because she is uphill and the puddle kind of inches towards targets. You simply watch as the puddle slowly moves and Malon slowly backs away from it. The students behind you simply stare down at the puddle, daring not to touch it as their food and milk leaks down with it.
  Mercury is a pretty cool element. It's the only liquid metal out of a couple liquids in the periodic table, along with Bromine which happens to be very poisonous. She walks forward a bit and pokes her finger at the liquid metal. She jerks her hand back as it shocks her and steps back. She looks up to you and motions her hand back.

  A chair behind you flies into your back, causing you to stagger around the dangerous puddle of mercury. You try to steer away from the large puddle, only to find yourself slipping on another puddle of milk which covers someone's grilled cheese sandwich. You flip over and land in the puddle of mercury. The electric current begins to course through your body, causing you to wince in pain. You quickly activate your wound of shockwave and slam the ground. The puddle shoots up into the sky and away from you. You quickly jump back and look up to her again. She's giggling to herself.
