Well bolloks... I say north east. I'm sure after our little detour, we should start moving forward. We hardly have enough scrap for anything useful. What say you two? in the meantime, return the extra 1 from engines to the Artemis missile. Keep it ready.

It's already there, if you take anymore from the engines it won't let you jump.

Thought we didn't change it back. Whoops

ANd change decision; go to store; if we find long range scanners, or something useful we can afford, we're lucky bastards

Well, nothing we can do about it. But still, if push comes to shove and we do find something nice, we could - could, allright? - sell the artemis launcher... Eh, we'll see.

I got no problem with that

Mastahcheese, your sig is flawed.

It should be "RTDers". The way it is now, it ends in a possessive instead of a plural.

gramur est vitol

Edit: Reduced font size. That looked more obnoxious than I thought it would.

They'll offer 19 for the artimis, and 40 for the burst laser.

I literally have both FTL and X-COM running at the same time to update all this stuff. If I had all the actions for Mainspring, I'd be running GIMP, as well.
The things I do for you all.

Ye-ah... don't think we will part with anything in this station. Fuel's fine for this sector still, so I see no reason to linger here any longer. Hard East, I say.

Re: The Derail Games: The Derail thickens!
« Reply #881 on: February 09, 2014, 05:52:36 am »

Meanwhile, in Europe, the derail thickens...!

For those wondering why I ever would choose this colóur to post, It is simply because we seem to have run out of other useable ones. Through shrewd investigation, I percieve that I also am one of the only players using it normally in my other posts. Thus it would be quite fitting for me, and shall be my colour - unless any choice that is clearly different from the rest of the palette that is already in use comes my way. But, without further ado, the derail!

GODLY WARS OF THE OCTAGONIAL PLANE

At some point in time - a concept that flows really quite differently for the gods of most planes - the gods of this one decided that, while their creations were fun to watch by themselves, they should impose on them an undertaking to prove their worth. What translates to "hold a battle royale" in mortal terms. But instead of just calling on one of their champions, they would leave it to their own random godly games as to what type of warrior - if one at all - would be called. Also the order in which they would go, would be decided by the same, mortally unfathomable games. And thus they played...

The Rules:

Winning and Loosing:
- Step unto the Central Ambiguity, and after that stay there for 2 Rounds to Win
- Be the last one standing to Win
- Be killed, or not the successful channeler on the Central Ambiguity to loose

Terrain:
- The terrain is the physical embodiment of the specific gods, thus boni and mali will be applied
- Terrain of your own god will give +2 to all rolls
- Terrain of his close silblings will give +1 to all rolls
- Terrain of your own gods rival will give -2 to all rolls
- Terrain of your own gods rivals close silblings will give -1 to all rolls
- Stepping unto the Central Ambiguity is special~

Movement and Combat:
- You get a certain amount of Moves each Turn. Moving unto one of the 8 adjectant tiles takes one Movement.
- Combat may occur after a Mortal comes into one of the 8 tiles directly adjectant to another Mortal.
- Combat always takes one movement from the assaulter
- Since all Players will give their orders simultaneously, Initiative will be rolled every turn

Assault:
- MELEE-Assault will take you unto the tile of the Assaulted. His Terrain will thus be applied to you.
- RANGED-Assault will not have you leaving your tile, but if the defender is MELEE he will enter it on his counterstrike.
- MAGIC-Assault will not be influenced by Terrain, and else be handled like RANGED Assault.
- DIVINE-Assault is special~

Races and Classes:
- They differ. Greatly. Duh.
- Every Race may only be choosen or rolled once
- Every Class may only be choosen once, but only if unrevealed
- Once revealed, a Class may only be obtained through the dice on creation

Quests:
- They are simple, and give a boon
- You always get one from your god
- Some Races might have one of their own~

Guessing Conundrums:
- If you guess wrongly, the dice decide
- Every Race is already bound to a god
- If you guess a Race from another God's Element, you will obviously convert to him
- If two players guess the same Class, first come first served will be apllied
- If two players guess a Race from the same Sphere, the later player's choice will be counted as invalid
- Since nothing is revealed at the start, happy guessing~

Godly Attribute:
Your chosen Sphere
Race: Leave it to the dice, or try your luck~
Class: Leave it to the dice, or try your luck~

The First Round!

The Contestants:

Sphere of the Water Gods:

Godly Quest: Kill the Mortal of the Sphere of the Fire Gods!

Sphere of the Wind Gods:

Godly Quest: Kill the Mortal of the Sphere of the Earth Gods!

Sphere of the Fire Gods:

Godly Quest: Kill the Mortal of the Sphere of the Water Gods!

Sphere of the Earth Gods:

Godly Quest: Kill the Mortal of the Sphere of the Wind Gods!

Happy hunting!

Oh, and please do awnser in transparent, lest we confuse this game with others~

Also; so colour, many choice, so fun, much troll
