Actually most of the dominions games are not done as pbem.
If you want to try out a network direct-connect, snag one of the always open ones on Dom4minions.
Just go ahead and grab two nations then hit start. It plays a lot like a solo game except for waiting for other people to make a turn.

If you want to setup a dom game on Dom4Minions just send an email to gandalf@community.net with the settings. The Hosting Games link tells about some of the settings you can use. Or any settings you can dream up.

My province count isn't that impressive, and I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place (the hard place is, ironically, the ocean) so it's not going to get too much larger, I think. Honestly, I think my province count is disappointing given what Sceleria can rack up in the right circumstances.

Congratulations on your third province, by the way!

As for a gentleman's agreement, I'm not sure that that can be realistically enforced, and I'd prefer that either Llama take down the score graphs section or we just let it exist. Many of the graphs aren't terribly useful without a history behind them, regardless.

I did much better in my test games, I swear!

A couple of tough indies limited my options and even then I succeeded in losing most of my huskarls in an easy fight early on. I'd say I'm now two turns behind what I'd be based on my test runs. That third province was actually one of the tougest in the 'hood, so I should be snowballing from here onwards. *Knocks wood*

Also positive thinking. I'm not alone in the 3-5 province bracket and I actually outman the giants now. Life's looking up for Rus

There's always the ocean! I hear the tentacles are beautiful this time of year. I'm sure your elephants would love going for a swim more than they'd like my boring old mountains! That said, I hear the view from Ermor is wonderful as well. Perhaps you should take a look.

Yes.  You should definitely go for a swim in the ocean with elephants.  I will have no defense against mr5 units and low-stat infantry.  An even better solution would be to have your mages lead mindless summons into the oceans.
