Because willfull boosted skills are rapidly running out.

Aaarrrrgh! NO. Not even close!

ARGH.

Train military and navy, switch to magical girl outfit since we we won't need the military boost anymore with our maxxed out skills

Come on people, please change those votes to something that might actually come in useful. If you're voting to boost magic, do this instead! Far more skill points into magic at the end of the day, and "at the end of the day" is gonna be pretty important this time around!

Weild Magic + Resist Magic

Whatever the people think of lumen, let's be ready to fight one should one appear.

Also:

Kill the messenger, drink his blood, and mail his head back to the rebels along with a selfie of us and his mutilated corpse. Then burn their lands into the ground.

Somebody really should sig this.

LB, See my post - we get a bigger boost if we change out of our outfit into the magical one and train military, don't we?

Polearm Power! Polearm 2x

Also... If it brings us victory... Don the pink magic dress. Then remove it immediately from our sight and burn it afterwords.

It now resides forever in the OOC thread.

LB, See my post - we get a bigger boost if we change out of our outfit into the magical one and train military, don't we?

Bonus to which?

Scanning back through to page 79 of the thead. Our base strategy skill without military uniform is 94.7. And base naval strategy is 66.8. So if we train strategy + naval strategy and switch to the lumen outfit we end up with:

Strategy 100
Naval  66.8 (76.8 )
Logistics: 100

Sense Magic: 70. 8 (80.8 )
Resist Magic: 48. 0 (58.0 )
Weild Magic:  79. 9 (89.9 )

Whereas if we keep the uniform and train resist + weild we end up with:

Strategy 94.7 (100 )
Naval  66.8 (76.8 )
Logistics: 100

Sense Magic: 70.8
Resist Magic: 62.95
Weild Magic:  94.85

The two results are very similar, but with your method we end up spending at entire training period to get ~5 actual points in a skill for the purpose of maxing it to make our uniform bonus avaiable in something else, whereas with my proposal we end up with either of strategy and weild magic able to be maxed by wearing a uniform, without spending the extra training weeks to do it.

I can justify either decision. Depends on what our goals are. I don't understand why anyone wants to train polearms though. I would certainly rather do what you suggest than that.

At some point we're going to need

a) Queenly stuff
b)history/foreign affairs stuff
c)combat stuff

I vote we focus on one of these now that wield magic and strategy are high.

I change my vote to support "whatever is highest from the groups of military and magic"

Just... not polearms. T_T

Wield Magic and Internal Affairs I guess... no bonuses, but eh...

Naval strategy and polearms

We've already been told that our navy is useless.
In this battle, but we currently have a huge military bonus, may as well explore our naval affairs while it is opportune.

We want to train polearms so that we can get more than 50 points into either of the other weapons skills. WE wont be able to do that until polearms gets above 25.

We want to train polearms so that we can get more than 50 points into either of the other weapons skills.

Why? We already hashed this out some 15-20 game weeks ago. We don't really need both weapon skills and magic skills. I was the one who suggested we go weapons, but everyone else wanted to go magic, so we went magic. Why go back and train weapon skills now that we're an accomplished lumen? We're a queen. We'll be commaning battles, not leading the front lines. All we need personal combat for is honor duels and things, and magic should cover us there.

It seems wasteful to spend time training to poke people with pointy sticks when we can disintegrate them with our mind.

Oh my. Wrath of the sun clone wizard is not to be fucked with.

This should be a happy accomplishment, but I don't see our (proper) mindrape or summoning foul servants abilities, which makes me sad.

At long last...!

Boy, that could end real poorly with a different skillset. No wonder whatshername figured she could probably take us; she must have assumed we were slacking or stupid.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait. Are you telling me the commoners believe wizards are chosen of the gods or something?

Because that would make everything so much better. Every mistake and failure, just another quirk of the Chosen One~

WARNING: SORCERESS IN AREA

A bit tense, though really with such powerful military skills, 100 Wield Magic, and a divine claim to the throne it'd be pretty hard for it go south for us.

Those rebels are probably very fortunate we didn't get an official say in the matter.

Oh yes, that.

Ooh, that's convenient.

...also probably fortunate that we didn't get a say in it, because that talent might have been used slightly differently then.

Woops. Battlefield healing would have come in handy after all.

Still... wait... did we lose less in a civil war than we did driving the fishmen from Blondie's estate? As in, a little over a fourth as much, while inflicting six times that number on the enemy?

Goddamn, Arisse. You really did not do your homework on this one.

Yes, very loyal, I'm sure.

Then again, if anyone was fighting because they genuinely believed we were weak and incompetent... well, at diplomacy and negotiation and technological advancement, sure, but most certainly not in war, mmm?

Well, the crisis is over and the kingdom is ours. Time to relax with some weekend activities.
