*smacks several times for ignorance*
Only about a quarter of the American debt is to foreign countries, and only 8% to China. (Most of the debt is internal. It's...confusing. And, yes, more than a little stupid, but accuse us of the stupidity we actually do, dammit.)
Besides, this isn't a loan, this is a sponsorship. Like, they pay us money to keep doing sciencey stuff. Like real-world scientific foundation

Accept sponsorship.

It's not like we're doing anything right now.

It's not like most of us are doing anything meaningful, at least.

Derpus likes the idea of a sponsor. A ... patron. Someone who appreciates art and science.

+1

Derpus writes down notes about the plant and the blood reaction. Does the plant have any features, like fruit or flowers or horrible jaws?

Time for a shopping trip. Without telling the others what he is doing, so that there is no reason for them to interfere, Derpus visits the butcher to take a few buckets of blood off his hands.

Malaria, upon hearing about Erik Koenig's offer arranges a meeting. "We shouldn't accept or reject anything until we hear terms."

Write Back, proposing a meeting at a local tavern, as I doubt anybody on the staff has the proper attire to meet where Rich People like to gather.

Quote
You get some blood from a rat and what the hell is a Q-tip this is a medieval fantasy setting. Instead of making things up, you put the blood on a small spoon and try to feed it to the Skelekitten. It doesn't really appear interested.
You then a dab of blood onto the strange plant. Quite alarmingly, it twitches slightly and visibly grows in the direction of the blood.

Upon hearing the results of that experiment, Malaria decides to scale things up a bit. She kills one of the rats, cuts it open, and places it in contact with the Crimson Plant.

Guys, quick reminder, he wants to meet you at noon, which is next turn.
Also, do you want me to put the time frame of each turn at the beginning/end of said turn?

Dave can speak for us. We don't need the whole gang there do we? Certainly at least we don't need the hunchfronted, clubhanded lab assistant Derpus, right?
