Indeed they do...  I'm not using it now, but I actually found a way of getting your healers to grind levels like mad.
 
A level 2 temple to Fervus grants the otherwise completely useless spell "Illusionary Hero", which creates a mimic of whatever creature you cast it on (not just heroes) that will then wander around aimlessly until the spell expires.  Rather than having an actual timer, the spell simply uses HP as a means of determining when it should cancel, as the illusion in question will quickly drop in health until it runs out (making the normally useless spell particularly useless for diverting attention away from squishier targets, like the ones who need it the most).

Healers...  Go a bit nutty when they see an illusion.  Since it's constantly dropping health, they will follow the thing around and obsessively keep casting Heal on it, thus making sure that not only does the illusion keep on meandering about for a very long time, but also that they get hilarious amounts of XP from performing this exercise in futility.

This can get a bit dangerous though, as illusions will occasionally just venture off into the wilderness with all the healers in tow...

Oh, yeah, on that note...  Since we have elves now, I can't put Sheb in as a gnome.  You'll have to think of something else for this round.

Strange, you seem more like a Priestess of Krypta.   :P
But yeah, it would nice to see this LP revived.

It's comparable.  I liked majesty 1 more, personally.  Majesty 2 felt a little like a reskin of some other games, with majesty characteristics crowbarred in.

Majesty 2 still has the same narrator, that's a plus I suppose.  It doesn't feel like the first one much, gameplay wise anyway.

I personally prefer the original to the second, the heroes and monsters in Majesty 2 just don't seem to have the same depth to their AI as the first game.

Basically:
Majesty 1 - Somewhat easy aside of 2 last missions (i blazed through the campaigh only getting block on the ultimate mission).
Majesty 1 expansion - ROCK HARD (couldn't beat any mission)
Majesty 2 - Brick wall after a few first missions. (fuck that dragon)
Majesty 2 expansions - Harder than hard. (again first mission is easy...ish and everything ifter that becomes... ugh)

I think my main problem with Majesty 2 was the fact that there were no randomly generated maps.  You could take scenario maps and randomize the locations of things that spawned, but not "Here is the enemy lair, here is where you start, go forth."  I think a lot of that though is because of how they decided to do trading posts and temples.

Otherwise it was definitely playable, I've sunken quite a few hours into it actually.

I must be super good at Majesty then. Only stuck on the Apocalypse mission for the first campaign, and only two or four impossible missions on the expansion.
