Ok. Also, apparently Mush don't get AP for eating rations? Was disappointing, though it does give me an excuse for being dirty. I assume Coffee works the same way?

If you think being mute is bad, never take your walkie-talkie on an expedition to a planet with high winds. There's a risk of losing a random item from your inventory and as far as I know there's no way to replace it.

 I'm playing a Chun who got deafened whilst shooting a troll Finola, somewhat ironically (she was silent all game, when I suggested she might be inactive, she dropped her walkie talkie, grabbed all the weapons she could and murdered Raluca - neither turned out to be mush). Luckily, the ship has a medic book, but some well-meaning soul already grabbed it, whilst our hard working gardener is hogging the medbay bed - I've had to distribute a rash of post-its to try and rectify the situation (will be amazed if this crew notices and bothers reading them, let alone tries to help me).

Stay on the bridge unless you're out of actions and have lots of movement. Your job is too important to galavant around.

Assume that your crew is a cage of idiot monkeys unless people show otherwise. Each crewmember setting up the comm link only gives 4% chance of success base- that's REALLY bad for 2 AP, when someone can turn on the microwave to sever the link. Make sure they know not to use the microwave, ideally before mush are chosen.The worst thing you'll ever run into is a mush claiming to be a newbie that didn't know.

Crew can use their actions to set up the comm link; you're limited to one attempt a day, remember. Harrass them about it, 50% of the crew you'll be with likely don't know and think it's Paola's job only.

Also, bug them to get you a sofa(Via microwave/shower dismantle). So that you can lie on the bridge and not travel to dorms.

Priorities:
Xyloph DB gives you one bonus per 2 AP spent. Including Mage Books (Cooking, mush research disk, 2 other random skills that come with their own skill slots!), a list of people who aren't MUSH(High five eleesha and your powers will combine. Through the powers of deduction), and so forth. Useful.

Decoding rebel signals is less important the second day; it's only a glory boost. Later days can be very useful(+1 action points from eating the second;+1 damage to patrol ships, the 7th, etc...). If you can, prioritize xyloph DB unless you have the doublespeed decoding perk from xyloph.

Neron update gives you neron projects. Note that any project seen in research that ISN'T voted for is LOST FOREVER. So the more neron projects that Paola finds, the less projects that are lost to the research process. However, 2 AP only gives you progress towards the project, it's generally less useful early than xyloph.

I don't know why I put Archer, I meant Terrance. He can work on drones and stuff but I have yet to see a drone and don't know how to work on the blue print. Anyone able to help?

Do you just have the basic robotics skill, or are you a silver/gold player?

If you just have the basic skill, you're at the mercy of other players. Either techs or pilots.
You might be able to convince the Neron admin to let anyone take off in the ships.

If the humans destroy hunters there's a support ship pershipe? (definitely spelling that wrong  :-\) It's in alpha bay 2 that can fly around and pick up the remains of the ships which can be used to upgrade the drones.
Otherwise you can convince tech players to dismantle equipment on board to give to you.

Depends who it is! Raluca often stays in the engine room to fix the pilgred because if she's in the room with other people they get depressed.

A Golden Supernova Award?

On the round where everyone kept not believing the information I gave even when I linked the translated wiki?
On the round where I had a single skill for most of it?
On the round where I was Freida?
On the round where mush Roland took off alone with the Icarus and died?
On the round where we got chased away from 6 asteroids after narrowly blowing up the interdiction ships?
On the round where Hua felt that patrol craft were a waste of AP to get in/out of, so she just kept using turrets with the crappy 30% hit chance?

Day 7, 115 glory. Sadly, death by depression though the rest of the crew died on the same turn from the ship blowing up.

Kudos to Chun for taking the time to understand how things worked and not just always jumping on the bad information that some of the other (non-mush) players seemed to have.

One of our mush was inactive, as we found out when I punched him to death.

Just now our Kuan Ti claimed he got dirty from NERON research.  Check your excuses, kids, NERON research doesn't cause dirtiness.  I shanked him and he was, indeed, our other mush.  Now we just have to survive to the end!

What does the Golden Supernova award do besides get listed as stats at the end of your profile?

When I first heard about it I assumed it was like the Die2Nite system where the last survivor got a brief period of 'Hero' time, but apparently it's not the same?

Yay, one Mush found out on day 2 cycle 8.  Anyone got any idea on good rooms to place cameras in?  Also, I have the anomaly detector which states "equipment that has been interfered with will be reported on your PDA".  What exactly am I looking for here?

Meh, tried the game but it is pretty lame for free accounts and a normal account is 10 bucks a month.

To be clear, you can do things as a free account, just not really anything interesting. The game is also extremely slow paced, even for a browser game.

You can do the MOST important and interesting stuff with a free account, though.

Which is talking, planning and organizing. Nothing is more important than that. That IS the game.
