I remember playing Die2Nite with a bunch of people from Bay12 and I saw today that the creators of that game just released a new project along the same lines. This one however trades the Zombie Apocalypse for a Spaceship. You inhabit one of 16 characters and several are traitors for the evil Mush race who have conquered Earth and are trying to destroy your ship of survivors. I haven't gotten that far into it yet of course (these things take time) but it seems to have a bit less glacial a pace, with turns regenerating every 3 hours and having generous movement and action bars. Worth giving a try at least I'd wager! There's also some sense of progression as a character, at least within one round - I don't think anything carries on between completed rounds. http://mush.twinoid.com/

I *Think* The better you do earns you points you can spend to upgrade characters for when you play them later.

However I am not fully sure, as I have invested about fifteen minutes so far. I will give more impressions later.

In really loving the style of this and it's more engaging than die2nite ( if only die2nite was like this ) not had much of a impression yet due to work but it looks really cool.

Anyone ever play Warcraft 3 mods ? It really reminds me of the parasite one.

I like Twinoid's stuff, it's often high quality and cleverly implemented, but hated the Die2Nite community esp. the mod team. Will be eagerly checking this out.

If anyone reading this is wondering why nobody's come back with solid thoughts on the game yet, Mush is very much like Die2Nite in that characters have a set number of action points that regenerate very slowly over time, so it's going to take a while to experience anything meaningful in the game.
