@E/D: Oblivion? Mmm, not really. It's not as good as Morrowind or Skyrim because it's not as pick-up-and-play as Skyrim (by which I mean no need to pay close attention to how you level your skills for maximum stat gain, things like that) and it's not as complex or as interesting as Morrowind (less variety of everything in general, smaller game-world, less flexibility in modding in new quests, etc.). Kind of the same with Saint's Row 3. SR2 was perfect, SR4 is hilarious and over the top, and SR3 is just kind of in the middle of the two and so not as good as either. I mean if it's on sale go for it, but otherwise I wouldn't bother with Oblivion.
EDIT: Oh yeah, clans.
Brujah: Political activists, no real downsides that I can recall, pretty good at combat.
Gangrel: Sort of wolfish, really strong when Frenzying, fall into Frenzy easier than other clans
Malkavian: Insane, can use powers of insanity against others, kind of weird though
Nosferatu: Stealthy, rats don't run from them so they can feed from them easier and a certain background lets them get more blood from bums/prostitutes, ugly (which has a lot of effects, for once)
Toreador: Closest to human, no real upside or downside
Tremere: Magicians, have access to Thaumaturgy Discipline, have a cap of 3 on the the three physical stats
Ventrue: Nobility, can Dominate people in conversations, can't feed from rats/bums/prostitutes
More to it then that but that's just a quick who they are, upside, downside deal.
@Derm: Don't stress so much, dude. If you'd like, you can just turn off notifications for this thread and I can PM you every time there's a turn. As far as I know there's no 'just faff about and discuss whatever while waiting for the remaining player to post in your RTD' thread in General anyway.
@GL: While I strongly agree with that last sentence, let's not discuss which console is the superior one here.
No need for arguments to start over it.
