Since the Axe of Prissan is really part of a containment system for a hideously powerful demon, I'd say something very bad is about to happen.

Was that in a blog post at some point? If that was said in the comic, I suppose I wasn't paying attention.

Thanks for the explanation, Ears :P
Though I do actually appreciate the explanation.  I remembered it, but there are a lot of callbacks I have trouble getting so...  Maybe a flashback panel would have been better but this is fine too.  I'm kinda eager to see what finally happens with it, actually.

I still have no idea what's up with the sorta-duplicates, but it just hasn't been revealed yet I think.  Which is cool (:

Interesting foreshadowing: the Big Ears duplicate has had a cracked axe since we first saw it. The Complains duplicate has had goaty demon legs the whole time.

I like these duplicate guys. They're confusing, but the characters are pretty confused by them too, so I can sympathize with that.

So here's something I just noticed. Compare the first panel of this page with the last panel of this page. I think it's pretty clear what's going on in these two rooms now.

Oh...  oh shit, I don't like the implications of http://www.goblinscomic.org/04132016-2/
It does explain things though, even if it still isn't fair.

Somehow I don't believe the author is too interested in 'fair.'

Check the bottom right corner of the comic over the last few pages. Seems we have a sneaky timer going on.

This is going great.
Spoiler: the purple one is going to land a nice hit on Kickassio in about two pages.
