Tl;dr: "Goblins is about bigotry and how lame it is." "[There are other issues.] These sorts of issues are very important to a lot of folks and I get that. It’s just that these issues aren’t here in these pages of the comic."

Discuss~

I think you left out the important "I’m being both praised and scolded for making some daring statement about gender issues that isn’t there" part of your tl;dr :P

This is the page in question. The goblin party is at a pillar that shows your sexual desires and when Big Ears approaches it shows a hunky male goblin. Pretty explicit. When Fumbles approaches it does not change, and the significance of that went over my head so I'm glad Thunt pointed it out. Oh asexuals, always getting ignored.

Anyway, I'm happy about the development. As a queer person I like reading things with queer characters, though I don't see what people were reading into beyond that.

What is also neat is that for a moment, Complains, Max, and Fumbles were surprised by that, but they ignored that while making a big deal over females with head hair, with Fumbles teasing him over it.

Well well well, I finally start reading this comic strip again and ... well, see for yourself.

This'll be fun.

It took me a second to realize what was going on in the last panel. Then my heart sank. Here we go again.

I wouldn't have waited a whole rest period (that's how it works I think), but then again, it took that long to discover the doors.

We don't even know if the hidden door in the first room was closed or not (there could be multiple though) and while the ropes could slow him down, we don't know if the golems in there reset themselves, and we don't know if the golem removes the door after they all go through. Basically, apart from the ropes, Kore has a potentially obstacle free path.

The kore principle of this comic is death, it seems.

Also heh, closed time loops are funny.

The next page (which I will not be drawing live) contains an event that changes the comic forever.

Prepare for death.

I'm calling Fumbles for dying. He's arguably the most vulnerable.

Since the Axe of Prissan is really part of a containment system for a hideously powerful demon, I'd say something very bad is about to happen.
