Why in the world would I do that? Reliable 2d6 damage all day makes for short encounters :P
YOU DON'T LIKE PUNCHING WITH FIRE?

DO YOU EVEN CAPTAIN FALCON?
Falcon punch has nothing on falcon sledgehammer :P.

4d8+8+1d6 damage.
Yeah, you're probably going to appreciate the other Bard more than me.  +1 to hit is a little bit better than a kind of small increase in damage.  But every other melee will love me!
Eh, I like the damage regardless :3.

General request: Put your Marching Order on your character sheet in the "Additional Information" box at the bottom. This will make it easy for me to find it.

Additionally, if your marching order involves casting a summoning spell, you have to specify A] what creature you summon and B] what orders you give that creature when it shows up.

This.

If you let me in, I'd change my character to a dwarven rogue/wizard.

I will remedy this disgusting lack.
A dwarven Crusader it is.

Gah, I hate the shopping part.

Yeah. I'm going to have to ask for help when I get there. I'm stuck at the 'looking at huge list of prestige classes and trying to figure out where to go long term with my Paladin' stage.

I didn't even care about that.  I fully expect to go entirely Bard/Marshal.

Oh, that brings up another question; are Multiclass penalties in full effect?

They are not. You may freely ignore multiclass penalties.

Does anyone use multiclass penalties?

Alriiiight, so everyone is warming up to play now, right?

I wanna start some team building without blatant GM pushing.

Who'd be up to forming a 'guild' alongside my char? Ergo, RP reason to trust one another without too much tedium-and the ability to pool our resources. We'll need spending power if we're going to get beyond sleeping at the inn.

For example, a group of five of us could donate 1000 gold (not too hard to take off our starting buy if we got no magic item) and get a 'grand house' to sleep in, stock with supplies, workshops and hirelings, plow with permanent defense blessings etc.

http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Urban_Adventures#Access_to_Resources <--using that as a reference, tho who knows what the prices actually are like.

We might also take a share from each job we're in and put it to both upkeep, and something cooler-like a fort! :)
Or maybe we'll just be able to build our starting city up, as I believe many items you can buy for granted in most D&D games might be hard to find.

Just some thoughts. I'm fine with free for all, too.

On that note:

1. You are both welcome and encouraged to use the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook rules when building your fortress of doom.

2. There are three major construction projects going on in Rivertown: Fort Deathriver, the Temple of the Rivers and the Royal Navigator's Lighthouse/Wizard Tower. If you buddy up with one of these groups, they may allow you to build your guildhall in their keep/temple/artificial island.

Obviously we have to claim a portion of the jungle for our own purposes.
