I see no problem with having a masterwork book to use with Perform (Oratory). Likewise with a masterwork songbook for Perform (Singing).

Personally, I suggest swapping out your first level of Bard for one of Rogue- you'll get an extra 8 skillpoints going Rogue then Bard over Bard then Rogue.

Edit: Also, I think that taking Perform (Mime) would be too evil even for Vray.

Is the above (not miming) acceptable, Grek?

Thank you.

If I do this (@other party members) should I take disable device and open lock for the sake of the group?

edit: I think I shouldn't, as they'll be difficult for me to skill with in my bard levels.

You could swap in the Able Learner feat, but I doubt it's worth it.

1. You are both welcome and encouraged to use the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook rules when building your fortress of doom.
Hm...for just 20,000 gp per stronghold space, you could have a house that can slowly crawl along through the air! At almost a whole foot per minute!

There's nothing wrong with ending up as Bard 8/Rouge 12. SA die of 6d6 is nought to be scoffed at.
Unless you're a lich or something.

Nah, just bring along a criminal on his sentencing to do it.

Thanks, no - I've got too many skills to cover in any case.

I can't remember where I found out how many bonus spells per day I get. How many is this for a level 2 bard with Cha 16? I will know 5 0 level +2 1st level spells, I believe.

A 2nd level bard with 16 Charisma will know five 0th level spells and two 1st level spells. They have three 0th level spell slots and a single 1st level spell slot per day.

Well, they have that many spell slots, they aren't really per day as such.
How so?

Because they have fixed spell slots that don't change.

...I don't follow. Are you quibbling over how "Spells per day" is used to refer to how many spells can be prepared in each day while "Spell slots" is used for spontneous casting?

Bards are less 'raar fireballs' and 'look what I can do!' when it comes to magic. But compare the spells they get to Rangers and Paladins-they get quite a bit for a class that doesn't need to entirely rely on magic.

Feather Fall and Expeditious retreat are things you are very glad to have at times.

To say nothing of Prestidigitation. Or its spiritual predecessor, Cantrip.
