What's it like down there?
Okay, here's an example from 1.7k, which is about the same.
I did that with very basic last hitting knowledge and slightly more map awareness than I usually have. At that skill level, those two combined with Bloodseeker at the time was basically a win button. That should give you an idea.
You... maxed thirst... first................?

In all seriousness, I could brag about how I roflstomp scrublets all day but I think that's kinda boring. What I can say is that when I used to play League. I'd watch pro players streaming and go "meh, I could do that" and the rare chance I got to fight one, yeah. I could. It's not a big difference in skill.
However, in Dota. Ho ho... I've fought people in 6k tier bracket. I've fought some pros like Bulba. Granted, they're NA pros but still. Now YASP.co tells me my
MMR is probably 4167. I'm not amazing at this game by any means. When I fight people in high skill or god forbid, normal skill, it's a massive incredible cakewalk. However, when I fight people in the 6k tier... I get obliterated. I don't even know why. I literally watch them own me and I don't even know how.
The difference in skill is incredible. I've played with a guy who regularly plays with Merlini and his Pudge is obscene. Him playing with me is like me playing with a smurf. Complete and utter destruction. And apparently that's normal. I could never replicate it.
So what I'm basically saying is that it's probably fine to be where you are. There will always be people better than you anyway. At some point you'll reach a stage where you don't even know how to possibly get better.
