Have you guys played Renox yet?
This guy just wrecks midgame. I mean, he's a goddamn dragon after all. His effectiveness runs out by the lategame where people have fireproof armor and weapons that can deal with him.

And his early game rocks, too.
No but I played against him...as Zead(the scarecrow) so much fire :'(

Melee underpowered? Build an necklace of Koren(half ranged damage to wearer, it second level in blacksmithing.) and just wade toward the archers.

I subclassed my Archer in Hammer Knight, which is a cheap counter to that. I've won so many PvP matches spamming equipment Smash skills like Throat Smash against melee guys using that tactic. Yeah, the skills say they're hammer skills, but they're bugged and actually usable with any weapon. Same with Earthquake Smash, which is hilarious on a missile weapon.

Now that I think about it, that's probably why this build hasn't taken off. Everyone's expecting the next patch to fix those bugs and force an expensive re-spec. But in the meantime it's making me so much loot!

I played  as A D.R.O.N.E Which is basically A HUGE AOE sphere of doom, Early game achievement of flying and tons of  ways to kill, long or short, however as its made of metal, it cant use magic, has A melee debuff, cant craft very well, butis pretty damn powerful early-med game but falls A little short at endgame, But no joke, I litterly stormed the Yellow  castle, killed half the entire team,  destroyed there mines and breeding animals, and then nearly killed tehre statue, then I broke when one of them had A EMP spell.

A new patch just rolled out, yay!

Changelog highlights:
Quote
  • All classes, abilities and special items are now randomly generated each game. The static content system we've had before was just a placeholder so that we could bring you the most emergent and fun gameplay!
  • [...]
  • Introduction of the mechanisms in the form of cogs, levels, drawbridges, ropes and wires, as well as a few more goodies in the bag! Create elaborate traps, impervious defenses and fly off in a skyship!
  • [...]
  • Projectiles' power is now properly calculated, which should stop people from killing each other with thrown leaves.
  • Fixed a bug where the statue could not be destroyed when all players in the team were kicked due to high ping.
Wow...
So looks like we're in for RNG: The Game. Sounds fun to me.

Also have a screenshot of me abusing people's slightly-less-than-ideal furniture placement:

This is getting tough. How does one counter a magma dragon rider crossbowelf? This sunnuva alone wiped out our defenses within mere seconds, and it took us 3 elemental summoners to take him down. He doesn't have to care about melee or throwing weapons while he can just shoot people all day and mow down any larger group with a breath of magma.

We still somehow won that game (tunneling for the win), but still, in direct combat this is just insanity. Especially since he didn't have to care about speed because magma dragons (or dragons in general) are so damn fast.

There isn't one. Your best bet at the moment is void beasts(high health and more cc then you can shake a stick at) to hold them still while you unload everything. You'll lose the beasts, but the rest should pull though. I had one match where we just filled our base with void beasts and sneaked(the whole team) into their base while they tried to cut through our forces with MDRCs, thank god for Jerna(You teleporting goddess, you)

Well, actually, someone in the global chat suggested crafting a double blowgun and hunting giant desert scorpions for their venom.
Yeah, it is a painfully slow venom, but a damn good one. Also, stun is a powerful CC to face.

Still though, people don't go for ranged as much anymore, elves are not the greatest and dragons are pain in the d!ck to train unless you have a dedicated trainer on your team. (*cue Joseph*)

So the game's out of beta, officially now.
So now we have all the mechanics in the game and polished, and it'll only get better from now on.

They have also released a "classic" version, called Elltycopiae (Even Less Likely That You'll Care Or Play It - Antique Edition) with predetermined heroes and content (maps are still random, though).

To be fair I like the antique version more. It might be me, but I feel like it's much more balanced overall. (at least you don't get screwed over with rolling a bad character or the enemy getting to play a deity or some shit)
Either that, or Ivan is just too fun to play. Gosh darn, he's amazing! Never had so much fun throwing people around! <3
He's so painfully slow, though. You can act as a human catapult for you teammates, though. Especially for the light ones like C'zone or Trinnie.

Thoughts?

Corvander, the Goblin Deathmage.

Hellz yes.

I'm currently in a game, playing 5v5. Currently top's failing, as our Morul doesn't know how to use his Sunder properly. Tholtig jungle's screwed, damn counterjungling Asax.

Ivan top is currently ripping everyone in half, and I'm barely holding mid. I swear, if I just get one hit on that FUCKING Cerell.... Damn fucking Fire Imp.

I swear to God that C'zone (Phoenix God of Weather) is possibly the most broken thing that can be.
At least when used supportively in the economy. Sun berries all game, every game!
Also good for screwing enemies over by changing the weather to a blizzard. Seeing them freeze out and die is so satisfying!

Plus he can fly.
Cheesing land ahoy!

Pair him with Stormtalon for global map control. Assuming you're not playing Random. At least they finally added All Pick to the game. Heavens be praised!

Well fuck. They just disabled BOTH OF THEM.

And Corvander got disabled. *sigh*

Nerfs ahoy.

Actually, do you want to play duo queue? I want to try out Morul.

Sure.
I always wanted to play Cacame, actually. Never got to try him out. Been too busy maining Renox and C'zone. (until the latter got disabled, anyway)

Though I'll probably feed like no tomorrow because I'm not used to walking heroes, but whatever.

((Shall I make a mock wiki for this?))
Don't worry, I have experience with Melee carry heroes like Morul.
