Yeah, the rulebook says that as well. However, it permanently damages the power cell and can render it entirely non-operational. Better to just charge them normally, which keeps the cells working AND doesn't take as long.

Apparently lasguns can be recharged by throwing the power cells in a fire. Huh.
Yeah, that's actually one part I remembered, pretty wicked awesome, except it halves it's capacity permanently.

Looks like I'm in. It's always good to have a cleric to balance out the psykers.

You have to remember that the people of the Imperium are a highly superstitious bunch, and for very good reason. Just about any sort of trinket or memento can be seen as a sign from the Emperor if you convince yourself enough. Even a chunk of rock, potentially.

I can send it to you, if you want.
Yeah, sure. Never actually read the Primer before.

I've got a mass of melted bullets and a bag of Teeth. I love the Bag of Teeth, it must be incredibly unsettling for anyone I show it to.

I bought a physical copy a little while ago. Trust me, it's good. It provides all the information a Guardsman might need, such as how to combat the sluggish genestealers, the idiotic orks, and the bovine and panicky Tau.

I should probably also start

y'know

collecting the character sheets and organizing them on my end.

Incidentally, in my Deathwatch campaign, my ultrabadass Death Cult Assassin - who took out a Hive Tyrant and Necron Overlord in melee combat - has been revealed to have made a Dark Pact with a Lord of Change.

Said thing was revealed by the Lord of Change itself, who was having a "friendly chat" [read: manipulating] the space marines I'm with.

Dis gun be gud.

now if only my GM knew how to RP Lords of Change
