Hmm. Reading up, a lot of the character creation might end up being on the honor system, because I can't figure out a reasonable way to do a simple point-buy system. I'm considering starting us off at Rank 2, but seeing as how I've never done Dark Heresy at all, it might be best to start at Rank One. Let me read up a bit better, then we'll decide what to do about characters tomorrow night. This will also give me a little time to find some ease-of-creation resources for the players, like a myth-weavers type thing for the Character sheets and such.

Also, just reading this, I can tell you a few things: One, it's going to be awesome. Two, I might kill people on accident at first, although the system seems a little forgiving for the players (toughness + armor reduces damage taken, so that instantly-incapping 1d10+3 becomes severely dangerous rather than oh-god-I-died-to-a-mook, fate points can save you from death, etc) there is still some room for error with a first time GM.
