So Obama is Obama's fault?
So, since there is no cure, they might as well use a non-cure?

Well, Obama is 1/2 Obama's fault, and 1/2 Dunham's fault.

Is that the serum which supposedly cured those two American missionaries?

It didn't cure them, but they are improving in condition.

As an aside, a mortality rate of 33% is better than 60%
Where are you getting 33 from? Zmapp?

The Nigerian government just fired all of its federal doctors.

*EDIT
Perhaps this needs more context as the Nigerian government may have been justified here. The Nigerian Medical Association went ahead with strikes in spite of a cooperative government and its own president telling them they need to continue working to stop the spread of Ebola. The government of Nigeria is taking the spread of Ebola more seriously than many of its doctors.

The Nigerian government just fired all of its federal doctors.

Reading into it, entirely justified as the doctors started striking on the onset of this outbreak [basically blackmailing the government], and I don't usually give Goodluck benefit of the doubt, but they all deserved it if they're more worried about money than helping people in the midst of an outbreak. Apparently replacements are already prepared and vetted.

This is especially upsetting when you realize had the NMA just acted like doctors instead of blackmailing the government while people are suffering from an outbreak, maybe if the NMA had worked for their money and to save people who needed it despite their pay grade, maybe they would have had some leverage *after* this crisis to look at their people and say that they do in fact deserve more money for the work they do.

But no. Just blackmail your government while people are dying. Good riddance, the lot of them.

Oh, that's not Ebola. I assure you, it's just malaria.

Everything is fine. Do not Panic. Do not think about the event.

Fun fact*: Ebola gets worse if you know it's ebola. It doesn't like being found out.

*Not actually a fact.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
