Beginning my own tale of the server, I have all the luck of spawning in the middle of a Notch-forsaken desert, or the Iron Desert as I later found out to be named. I darted towards the nearest body of water I could find, being a natural-born pirate and all, and swam through it until I reached mountains. Climbing the mountains, they led me back to the desert, but also to a Turkish farm (no really; it says that it was owned by the Ottomans), and a great opportunity to practice my pirating skills as I took my fill of wheat (replanted, of course, I'm not an evil pirate).

Deciding that Istanbul was not constant or noble enough, I then followed the hills until I reached some seaside town that I couldn't get the name of. Nice place, but it was basically a ghost town when I reached it, so I pressed on. After swimming a bit, that being a few hours, I reached a distant island, and a road. The road lead to Liberty, but I couldn't make heads or tails of it, and got stranded in a forest, and eventually fell down a mine shaft. It was here that, after mining six iron ingots and some coal, I crawled out of the shaft, into the middle of a forest, and set up base in a tree.

Spoiler: My Pad, Treehut(s) (click to show/hide)

Not much, but not too shabby for having went through what is in essence a very non-solo friendly server alone for two days straight without dying. I'll also be ready by the time you bay people actually find me (if you wish to set out a search party), with an iron blade at hand to fend off those of ill will. I'll proably try searching for the mountain home once I build up enough food to go exploring again. Maybe collect wood too. Lots of wood.

So, if you ever needed a deposed noble/former mayor/grandmaster mason/architect/mechanic/siege engineer/wood cutter/swordsman/ship captain/explorer/magician/con artist/negotiator/magic girl tamer/pirate extraordinaire, Namkob (that's me) is currently in the forest near the entry road to Freedon. Second eye not included.

Oh, and by edge of the road, which edge do you mean again?

Do you use magic to tame the girls, or do you tame magical girls?

A little bit of A, a little bit of B?

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

Hmm, it would appear that a rather large part of the mountain home is under water, if the coordinates I was given to get there are anything to indicate by.

I can't really afford to find the entrance proper with only five hunger units left, so should I attempt to breach a hole into the tunnels, risking flooding something?

Conflict resolved. I am now in a temporary hovel as I await future orders. Huh, I think I liked my tree house better, even if there were elves.

I finally made it to the outpost as well.

Don't even try legging it unless you spawned right next to it. I tried 3 times. It's best to find a food source first of all, stock up a bunch, get some wood for boats, and only then go to the outpost.

I spawned a few clicks east of ravenport, I found a lake that looks like a dog with somebodies bed buried in the mountain nearby, which was a very lucky find.
There's a ruined settlement about 1 kilometer west with a sizable intact farm, and near that is a large forest, so I'll probably be gathering resources for a bit before i head off.
Edit, that map of LIO contains a structure in the bottom left that looks like the farm I'm harvesting.

Hey guys, be sure to check with Goldminer before building or digging anything, so he can direct you to a good spot.

Looks incredible!  Anything needed client-side modwise or just a clean vanilla up2date version?

There are some client side mods that most people use(Zans minimap, Journey Map, status indicator, etc. But you don't really need those.
