Also, if you retire your adventurer in some mountain halls, he may come to your current fortress as migrant.

I thought Mountain halls didn't currently exist? At least when i go looking for them.
They exist, but there's nothing there, no dorfs or buildings. Anyway, you can retire there.

you're lucky it wasn't an adventurer.  I've heard they can bash your skull in by throwing water at you.  UNDERWATER

Question : if you retire an adventurer/companion that is not a dwarf (so they will not join as migrant) , then you manage to run in the same world a dwarf fortress that would last several years, will something be able to happen to those retirered adventurers/allies during that time ?

I mean would they be part of wars, battles, would get into some civ / be abducted by night creatures etc... during the elapsed years or is the worldgen definitively frozen and during your fortress many years, nothing happens anymore to them ?

At the moment nothing will happen to your adventurer, they will be frozen in time just like everyone else.

That should change next version though, when we get history advancing past world-gen.
