Welp. Jumped a couple hundred million cps. Guess I'll never stop this game.

refresh to get the update, and it turns out the update did not work, so now I am looking at a error message telling me to check if javascript is on, and how it may be the servers fault.

I win.

Turns out the Game.RuinTheFun() function results in stacking of the multipliers; increasing by about an order of magnitude every other time or so. Naturally, I ran it until the floating point values overflowed. Resetting the game gave Infinity Heavenly Chips, putting my score to NaN immediately. Resetting again has reached a stable state of NaN Heavenly Chips and NaN cookies produced; thus making it impossible to gain any cookies without a hard reset. :D

Because in the end, the only winning move is not to play.

Edit: BAHAHAHA I HAVE BROKEN FREE. Even a hard-reset results in the cookie counter staying at NaN.

Edit2: Nvm, guess the counter doesn't show 0 until you reload after the hard reset.

With the Gold/Red cookies, if you are going to be around then it's worth using the temporary Elder Pledge rather than the semi-permanent Elder Covenant. The Pledge doesn't come with the 5% penalty and the cost tops out at 549,755,813,888 (~1/12th of the Covenant cost) and lasts an hour with the sacrificial rolling pins upgrade (itself less than 6 times the cost of the Pledge). If you consistently buy Pledges you can keep gold cookies rolling while maximising your income.

And if you aren't around then you probably aren't clicking gold cookies.

Of course, if you aren't around and are clicking gold cookies then the Covenant is worth it.

And if you are around and don't have many cookies banked then the red cookies are still better.

As for the latest update, now glad I didn't reset yet. Already grabbed 65 antimatter reactors. Do still need to reset at some point to get those achievements but it can wait a little longer...

Oh god antimatter condensers are hilariously powerful. I quadrupled my CPS to 2 billion EASILY.
(That said, I did have 70 trillion cookies banked)

I don't find the antimatter thingie to be that powerful. It costs about twice a time portal, and gives a bit more than twice the cps (something like 2.5 maybe). I only have the 2 first upgrades though.
In line with how other buildings scale, the scaling from time machine to antimatter, compared to say alchemy to time is pretty weak. It's nice because it gives a new building type that is efficient, and that is how it is powerful, though.

As I said, I QUADRUPLED my cps with the things, including the two first updates.

Either way.

There is absolutely no downside whatsoever.  No ominous things will start happening.  All will be well.  Praise be to the grandmothers.
