Grifen peaked out from behind the door, looking a bit bleary-eyed but otherwise in good spirits. Despite the war going on, being back in her home country had a revitalizing effect on her and she rarely lacked a smile on her face.

: "Sheila, g'morning! And Ciera too! What's up?"

Sheila finally let go of Ciera's wrist. "We're going out! We're gonna go have some girl time to ourselves. Hurry and get dressed."

Grifen vanished and reappeared in her normal getup, looking excited.

: "Sounds like fun! Is someone gettin' married or somethin'?"

Ciera gasped.

"Did Leo ask you, Sheila? Is that what this is all about??"

Leo nodded to Miguel.

"I'm just checking the shops to see if I can find anything of use for our team. How is the day finding you, Sir Miguel?"

: "Troubling... But quaint. It's peaceful here. Shall we walk and talk young man? I imagine you'll be wanting to see the Apothecary and the magician's shop."

: "I could use the exercise."

"Uh, well, no... Not yet... He still hasn't. It has been a month and he has said nothing about it." Sheila looked down and sighed.

"But hey, c'mon, let's go out and have some fun! Sooner or later we're gonna get pulled back into the mess and we should enjoy ourselves while we have the chance to do it! Now c'mon, let's go!"

"Oh... Sorry... But yeah! Lets have fun!"

Leo nodded.

"It's a good idea to look at every shop before we decide on purchases, and it will be good to get a chance to talk to you anyway."

He left the shop and waited for Miguel to catch up, then started walking off toward the staff shop.

"So what is it that troubles you?"

Traditionally a priest was supposed to add 'my son/daughter' here, but Leo didn't feel comfortable saying that to a man old enough to be his grandfather.

There were loud snores coming from Fezz's room, the scholar within still in the depths of sleep. A slight shift and soon there was a loud thud and a groan of pain. There was a shuffle as it sounded like the man was finally getting ready for the day. He emerged, rubbing what can be presumed to be his eyes from underneath his hair. His whole time in Moss had been spent resting, meditating, sleeping, and reading without much respite for other activities. It must of done some good though, since the historian seems quite refreshed and in far better spirits.

Moving on to the town, the scholar pondered what he should do. Hm... He reached into his jacket and touched the starshot tome. Even with just the touch he could feel it was worn and battered, most of its magic drained from frequent use. A smile spread on the man's face as he contemplated finding a new book to read about the subject on light magic.

Fezz headed off to the Ye Ole Magicke Shopee!

: "Awww, don't be sad Sheila. I'm sure preacher will come around sooner or later." She patted her pirate friend on the shoulder before brightening.

: "We still need to find Efa and Cyra, right? Let's get movin'!"

"I actually tried waking them first, but I didn't get a response? I think it's gonna be just us."

Miguel followed along quaintly, his tired body feeling extraordinarily heavy this morning. Just how old was he these days anyways? Or perhaps it was the worries.

: "You've heard some of the latest news, yes? Kretos and Garaz are back in full scale warfare. Last I heard was that they were pushed back from the walls of the Red Castle, but the lack of news is beginning to worry me."
