I won't bet anything, as with more bets there is an increasing chance of one of us being right, triggering SplinterCog's defense system to kill us while we sleep.

Ah, but for the brief moment before your death the rewarding feeling of having guessed right is worth it. Plus that means Splinter Cog would have to become real, which is worth dying to make happen.

Guess I'll be splinter-cogs target then. Because the reason is plainly obvious. While shade has his ergonomical keyboard by now - which would lessen the strain on his wrist by some-or-the-other amount, his wrist is still strained from before. Those things take several months to heal, lest you want it to become chronical and unhealable... (still operation-able but that is another, nasty can of worms)

So yeah, I actually am somewhat sure that shade will return - and if it is for leaving us a link to his new project. Even then, story of in a few months. Or so I would hope, in interest of shades health.
