Name: Ash. Or more specifically, the top half is Ashley and the bottom half is Ashton.
"Ow! Why do you always get to be on top, Ashley?"
"Because I'm lighter than you are!"
"I'm just saying, we should take turns, or something."
"Quiet, Ashton, they'll hear you!"Race: Human
Gender: Yes
Bio: Ashley and Ashton are twin ten year olds from [insert reasonably grim Mario city here]. They never knew their parents, as they were abandoned at an orphanage as infants. The Ash twins were the only humans at the orphanage, and they never got along with any of the other children. Ashley possesses a lightning wit and an outgoing personality, while Ashton is quite strong and has a thorough, methodical approach to problem-solving. Together, they could easily think or fight their way out of any situation.
One week ago, while dodging the orphanage's curfew, they found a human passed out in an alleyway. Upon further inspection (and by "further inspection" I mean "relieving the drunk of his trenchcoat and going through the pockets,") they found that this human possessed a Badge. The Ash twins had heard about Badges, but this was the first one they'd ever seen. The drunken human chose that moment to wake up, and in a moment of panic Ashley froze him to the ground. The Ash twins fled into the night with his Badge and trenchcoat, laughing uproariously as the mostly-nude man cried plaintively for help.
Later, they found a coffee-stained businesscard for the Hero Forge tucked into one of the many coat pockets of the coat. From the brief summary given on the card, Ashton deduced two things. First, that there were many, many Badges in the Mushroom Kingdom, just waiting for an enterprising adventurer to find. Second, that just about
anyone could be an adventurer.
Provided you were at least 18 years of age.
Ashley and Ashton devised a scheme to leave their orphanage and collect all the badges they could find. And so, not a week after first using a Badge, Ashley and Ashton prepared to execute Operation: Totem Pole Trenchcoat.
"Psst, Ashley. What are you writing up there? It's been like ten minutes!"
"It's the application for this hero thing. We had to fill out a biography."
"Oh. You did remember to write down our FAKE background, right? Ash the Bounty Hunter?"
