When it got too boring to create the entire world your character interacts with by themselves, rendering it functionally impossible to make any significant actions without skimping heavily on description or having a blatantly godbeing like Trickster, who I had to mentally block to be insensate to meta. Can you imagine how annoying the fucker would be if he knew?

Perhaps. Or make it so that they can't directly affect anything but cosmetics, say Trickster painting the sky or placing clothing on top of a character's head on occasion. Never actually confronting the players.
