Barbecue sauce? What are you on about. This is Dwarf Fortress! We cook our meat with a liberal sprinkling of magma!
Then we glaze it with the blood of are enemies.

And cook it over the fires of hell. Because. We. Can.

Well, with the necros running around hunting is pretty much a death row...  :'(

Which sucks because rhino meat gave us about 100 meat, which could be traded.

Do you guys still give the turns away? I'd want one, if possible - in the mid September would be best.

Well yes we have room for turns but for your time will be the very last one because i put the turn order in when people post asking for a turn.

That's fine with me - I'd just like to know, when my turn comes.

If it comes down to it, I will have a plan to stop the necromancer menace!

Step 1: create highly elaborate and dwarfy plan
Step 2: execute highly elaborate and dwarfy plan
Step 3: Fail miserably
Step 4: Repeat until step 3 becomes a success or until we run out of dwarves
Step 5: rejoice!

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

That is the most best plan in dwarf history, but we can use dwarf kids before dwarfs.

In my experience, Necromancers are pansies once discovered.  Their undead hordes, though, are another matter...

Most necromancers aren't teleporting haxxors.  They're humans and dwarves who often don't wear a lot of armor.

Hmmm... Wonder if an "airlock" composed of a 1x11 tile hallway with doors on either end, the outside 10 covered in a bridge over a pit and the 11th being a trigger plate would help clear out this undead infestation?  A 10 z-level drop will kill most anything.  If the door by the trigger plate led into the military's Training Room, all the better.

I have yet to meet a necromancer outside of necrothreat. Lets just say I gained a paranoid fear of them... Lets hope they're not as ridiculously overpowered as the haxxors were...
