Hehehehe! I have an idea.

Sirus, could you have Grifen either grab Renault or Fezz and duck south? With your Evasion bonuses, you'll be able to dodge most of the incoming attacks, and then counter with night guaranteed kill on every single one of the mooks. Vaughn will still be an issue, but most of the mooks will either be forced to attack you or die trying.

If you get downed, the person you drop will be thrown behind you assuming that either Miguel or Carlinn is on your other side tanking a hit or two. If we then place Miguel behind Carlinn or Carlinn behind Miguel, we have a wall that is relatively impenetrable, but still deadly wall, as those who are downed can be brought up by Fyra, or Reverand A, or B and immediately act during the next turn. The only issue is Vaughn, as you unfortunately can't do damage to him.

I'm still trying to think of a way to get rid of him efficiently...

That...could work. 90 effective damage is nothing to sneeze at for most of those mooks. and Grif's got great accuracy.

I'd question what is your actual chance of dodging them, because there's enough of them that its probably less a question if if you will get hit but how many times.

Well, when carrying someone I have 98 Evade. What's the best Hit they have?

It's not the most fantastic of chances.

42 - Vaughn - Range of 1

41 - Pegasi - Range of 1 - They have Effective Weapons against Horseback and Armor. (I plan on countering this by dismounting, but I understand that Grifen probably can't.)

21 - Spear Wyverns - Range of 2

31 - Silver Wyverns(Sword) - Range 1

The Pegasi are arguably the biggest threat out of all of them, though they are luckily also the furthest back may have to spend some time on healing duty. In two turns however, they'll only juuust be able to get into attacking range at 7,29 assuming they move efficiently.

In addition, remember if we can plop Fezz down, take a -15 to all of the above values. We would still have time to pull some rescue drop shenanigans and get him as well before we have to really get worried.

Well...Grifen can totally dismount. Her choices of carrying targets will decrease slightly (though she still has 15 CON while dismounted), but she won't lose anything else other than the ability to canto (and if she's going to be stationary defense, it isn't needed).

Also, if she's in Fezz's support range she tacks on an extra 15 Evade. So carrying Ram, with Fezz nearby, and dismounted, she gets 113 Evade (enough to render the Spear Wyverns almost a non-issue). That's not bad. Vaughn will still be a problem, of course...

Remember Fezz can't move and that we still have people to deal with up top. I think Griff grabbing someone (NOT RAM) is a good idea, but Fezz can't get down there by himself. I say not Ram because he's our only healer up there right now and there's no point in having him rescued.
