They are met with heavy resistance which ends in a stalemate. Mana is drained while in proximity to the Vatican. It's not anti-magic, it just drains the mana from anything in the area. Someone needs to find Mana-incarnate soon.

ICARUS flies straight at the jet Kyle is not flying towards, dipping slightly lower to dodge incoming fire (+5 to dodge) and then grabs the jet to hold unto it's under side. The Pannels at the side of the clunky engine bit (see image, they say SP on them) should provide ample cover from enemy fire. She then gives the jet a short X-raying, and proceeds to cut it where important wires are, to make it lose controle over it's engines.

<Finish them quickly. We need to catch up to the bombers.>
