Materials of incredibly high value for their times, locked away within a stone-like shell. They possess Wall Street enchantments that allow them to transmute materials which result in the materials gaining or losing mass equal to the difference of the input and output. Their contents themselves are transmuted over time as the values of materials change, so whilst they may have been something hard to obtain such as diamond or aluminum in bygone eras, their internal material now consists of magically contained antihydrogen or black dwarf crystals. These stones will cease to exist should their mass be deplete, though this will take quite a while as their internal mass is always of the most expensive materials of an era.

They actually have little to do with human alchemy and more to do with Wall Street as they may be considered as replacements to alchemy rather than power amplifiers.

They can only transmute to and from objects with an actual value in some sort of market. In order to transmute someone else's asset, permission must be given.
