<Maria! What's going on?> Matt sent her the message.

<Shout-thought if you need anything.> In truth, he wanted to go in there himself now, but since Maria didn't immediately ask for it, she probably knows more than he does... or thinks she does anyway.
Matt merely waited a little nervously. He quietly looked up, realising a certain angle a certain man usually saw things. ''I hope you're working on what we talked about, old man.'' He said quietly.

Maria sighs.
"Guys, please, don't break down so soon after we've just won."

"Y-y-yuri h-h-hates herself... i-i-its... I..." Selina keeps hugging Yuri, afraid that Yuri might burst into tears again if she lets go.

"Please, Yuri, don't hate yourself. You're a good person."
Maria joins the hug.

"Well... it would be helpful if you explained precisely why she hates herself. Otherwise there's no clear direction for action."

"Sh-sh-she thinks that... th-that she can't pr-pr-protect anyone... d-d-despite wh-wh-what she... she has..."

Maria shakes her head.
"You have the world to protect, Yuri. The world needs you. Us."

"Well, it's simply not feasible to protect everyone. No one can do that..."

She doesn't move after she'd turned. She just... sits there.

"It's better if she's not involved with me. That's all."

"Yeah, whatever. You made Selina cry. You have no excuse for that."

"I..."

She looks away.

"You'll be happier without me."

"Selina c-can decide what she wants, she's not an idiot."

Selina stands there in shock for a moment before running over and giving Yuri a huge hug. She doesn't even say anything, just hugs her as comfortingly as she can.

She tenses up, then slowly embraces her back, eyes closing and a slow breath escaping her.

Nuriel backs off.

...You might be better at this, kid.
Alright. Angel takes over and joins the hugging of Yuri.

Maria joins the hug.

"a good person... Maria, you hardly know me. You've fought with me, yes, but what do you actually know about me? Anything? About my past, my family, anything beyond basic details? If you knew what my family does, what I've been anaccomplice to, you wouldn't be so quick to absolve me..."

"Look, Yuri, _{that's your name right?} I don't know you too much, however, I don't see what's wrong with you being involved in morally dubious actions. So what? If it was necessary to further what you believed in, then I see no problem with it.

I take it from the conversation that you all were involved in countering that invasion earlier on? You all killed people then. None of you have any remorse for it. Understandably of course since they were attacking you, but point is, you've been involved in things that would be immoral if it weren't for the circumstances. I don't see how what you've done is any different."
