Presumably, in the beginning, @Ragnarok created Heaven and @GWG created Hell and the two have been trying to reconcile hem ever since then

Technically, I figured out some details about heaven first.

What were those details? Seeing as we haven't heard much about heaven so far.

Well, originally, whoever Heaven decided would make a good cog in the celestial machine went to heaven and whoever didn't went to some demon.
Then people started destroying that.

And what I think you mean is "it didn't fit with what I wanted to make happen". Really, what's so sucky about a simple, concrete set of rules about something? Why is it boring to have only two afterlives? Why does everyone want to be able to make their own little special snowflake corner of the universe regardless of the lore that's been laid down?

And the demons apparently will just make you do menial tasks for all of eternity. Which is boring as well. Also, it doesn't even discriminate on who goes where apparently. It's just based on if Heaven wants you for some arbitrary reason. In short, at least the current lore on the afterlife is interesting with concreteness and flavor.

Actually, in the original Christian heaven, all you did was praise God for eternity. It's not a paradise where you have fun or anything, you just sing praises to God. I don't think you even get to pick what praises you sing.

Depends on the demon, depends on the soul. Overall...so what? Dying sucks.

And what should it be based on? Why do the petty beliefs of some mortals have so much sway over cosmic processes?

What is so inconcrete about "You're going to Hell unless Heaven thinks you'll fit into their machine"? It's very specific.

There is no concrete there. It's like if I just randomly picked an egg because I liked it and the rest would all be broken. And I kept doing that with no pattern. And you're ignoring all the gods and such who could conceivably make their own afterlives and there is nothing Heaven can do to stop it since none of their cogs would help. People being able to choose where they end up unconsciously is interesting and most of all, SOMETHING THE MAJORITY OF THE PLAYERS LIKE BETTER. No one has to yield to you. And please, do show me where Scapheap approved it.
