Also I have been thinking, even though Stella can shapeshift, she really should have the same stats in each form (already mostly, there) and the mana pool should be the same, not different tanks for dragon and humanoid

That sounds like a lot of work to figure out the rules (because it still needs to be balanced) for just one character, although If elf was willing to figure it out it sounds good

DEX: 10 + 5(1-SFT)
END: 15

SFT is dragon shift percentage.
So at 0% (full human) she would have 10 STR and 15 DEX, at 100% (full dragon) she would have 15 STR and 10 DEX. At 50% (half and half), 12.5 STR and 12.5 DEX
at 25% (human with dragonic features), 11 (rounded down) STR and 14 DEX (rounded up)

COuld work, although the shape I normally park her in as the half-and-half is more like 45% dragon, 55% human, (She still has a human face and thats mostly it), (The true half and half is basically a dragon on two legs and human sized, although she still has breasts in that shape)

• Base stat is the lowest value of the two forms for that stat.
• Variable stat is the difference between the two.
• (SFT) multiplication if it increases with dragon, (1-SFT) if it increases with human.
• Round to nearest integer except for .5s which are kept (otherwise her stat total varies due to rounding).

It's relatively minor seeing as only STR and DEX varies currently.

ANd it will only be that, because as she scales bigger she is stronger, but finesse is harder, well that was the original plan anyway

Not necessarily seeing as spy satellites still work rather well despite moving quickly.

Or have multiple ones covering the world and switch the tracker duty to the one nearest as any given instant.

That would take a hell of a lot of satellites, given the speeds they would be moving at and the relatively low area any one could cover.

Wouldn't antimagic make their orbit decay faster than you can say "supersonic"?

Yes, hence the emphasis was on "close enough to their target to be seen", seeing as most targets cannot see something in orbit until its orbit has already decayed and sent it barreling down at them, antimagic won't work too well.

Um...if it's close enough that atmosphere is going to make a difference, it's probably not at "orbital" heights. Still not easy for people to see, perhaps, but...still.
