You activate membership on the Maia site with it. From there you can download the alphas.
Whether and how you'll get the final product is a mystery.  :o

The final product will also be hosted up in the members area :)

Also there will be no "final" product in a way Simon plans on doing progressive development like DF, but there will be a 1.0 where backers who backed for physical copies will get a physical copies
