Okay mastahcheese you have three options to end this. One involves the hostage and some really rolls, the second takes the radiology exit. The third is to ditch the doc and escape down the side of the building. Any of the three can result in death, capture, survival or victory. It all depends on how smart you are.
In further news, Sam Greene is the only PC left that has no Atrocity points. So if he manages to survive until Brockridge gets there, he'll probably get recruited or something. Or shot to be certain of threat neutralisation. It depends on rolls, my mood, the tides and the phases of Jupiter's moons ingame.
