? ? ?
Have a small FB go over to a library computer and search for nearby pharmacies.
(4) The FB scurries dutifuly over to the nearby terminal and searches for nearby pharmacies, returning with the results in short order. There are several dispensaries within FB walking distance of the library. There are two or three near the nearby cafeteria as well.

"OWWWW, FU-mmph. Sorry about that. I-I need to hold my tongue."
Try to get up without disturbing them further.
(6) You manage to disentangle yourself without further upsetting the creatures, who seem perfectly content to settle back into the warm spot you left behind upon arising. You are ushered quickly into the dining area, where a breakfast awaits. It appears that the food is prepared in Ood fashion, though, in Ood fashion as a small Oodling would do. It looks like you might have some tidying up to do after this situation is resolved.

Engage in honorable computer-wrangling - try to make sense of the thing in general, and how best to not make things go wrong in relation to it.
(4) As you traverse the Interspores, you begin to make sense of your console.inventory, ongoing projects, scheduled projects, shipping, receiving, maintenance, personnel, sporn, each section is in place. Submenus are grouped according to speciality: fungaloids, lichens, grasses, under inventory, planters, fixers, mouths, etc. under personnel, propelling, oozing, pulsating, crowd and individual under sporn. Your morale is rising as you experience such success.

Flip the closed sign over, and serve customers
(4)You flip the sign over, turn on the heating coils, prepare the oils and butters, and are ready to serve. customers begin to drift y in ones and twos for a quick meal. Inventory is good, though by the looks of it you might need to close a little early this evening to stock.

Start rambling incoherently about "IS ANYBODY OUT THERE? IM THE LAST PERSON IN THE WORLD OH SHIT THE WORLD HAS TURNED INTO A SMALL ROOM AND ONLY I SURVIVED AND EVERYONE IS DEAD AND I'LL NEVER HAVE SEX AGAIN AND THEN I'LL SHRIVEL UP AND DIE FROM OVERFLOWING FLUIDS AND WHY ARE THE WALLS MOVING AND I SEE ALL THE THINGS THAT EXIST AND ALL THE THINGS THAT EVER EXISTED AND ALL THE THINGS THAT WILL EXIST AND ALL OF THEM START WITH THE LETTER R."
(2) You receive a terse, poorly worded reply from what you assume is a wall-mounted speaker: "Please keep patience, prisoner one five three. Representation will arrive shortly to debrief you, and proceedings will begin in due course." After that, an audible click, and silence.

Ask the guard if there was any possible way for me to get out of the heaven-hole that is the Firebug.
I imagine my character wouldn't mind a hell-hole.
(3) The avian looking guard just blinks at you. The other shrugs and gestures back toward the maintenance region of the station. They seem less talkative "today."

Quote from: nginferno
(4) as you wait under the brush for your eyes to adjust, you continue to hear rustling from the nearby denizens, though the rustling seems to be receding from you. The prickles are digging into your sides and paws (or whatever they are), making you rather uncomfortable indeed.

Quote from: dansmithers
(4) Though you make no response, the faces continue studying you, and several instruments are pointed toward your container. Soon the container is unceremoniously tipped over, spilling you out into a larger container, in which you have space to move and stretch. A request for identification and dialogue is transmitted from somewhere as well. In your new container are nourishment pellets and a saucer-like stool of sorts, apparently intended as a seat or resting stand.

((lotta good rolls this round. Mostly fours. I feel spoiled.))

Sigh in disappointment before saying:
"You know, I should start referring to you by name. I don't know what your real names are, nor do I care. Bird guy, you're Idiot. Other disgusting creature, you're Braindead. Got it? Good. Regardless, look, I know you two are imbeciles, but please, I expected more from you. Now, tell me using WORDS this time: How the hell can I get off this ship?!
((I fully expect something painful to happen next turn, and I fully expect to enjoy it.))

Keffit-Fum, inexperienced as he was in the use of the system of the Formers, became turgid with success rather than the usual disappointment. The dark cycle had been spent in a productive manner. This was suitable. What was less suitable was that there was a folder for sporn on what was ostensibly a system meant for work.

Perhaps this matter required investigation.

Check size of sporn folder in relation to all else in the system. Then carefully peruse the contents of sporn folder.

Th'Thix perks up at the voice, mad wonder in his eyes. He's not alone after all! But what kind of creature could survive the apocalypse that befell everything else? The answer was obvious.

"OH JOYOUS DAY! THIS POOR SOUL HAS BEEN GRACED BY WALL-GOD! I LOVE YOU WALL-GOD!" At this he begins humping the wall from whence the voice originated, all while proclaiming his prostrations. "LET ME LOVE YOU WALL-GOD!" He then continues making it ABUNDANTLY clear that his species should not be kept in solitary confinement. Ever.

Wow. Marvel at how they even managed to KNOW about Oodian Cuisine. Commend them and dig in, before trying desperately to clean up when they turn their backs.

Regardless, look, I know you two are imbeciles, but please, I expected more from you. Now, tell me using WORDS this time: How the hell can I get off this ship?!
(2) The two of them look at you for a few seconds, silently. Then the scaly one comments to the birdlike one, slightly too low for you to catch, and the birdlike one opens it's beak and chirps rapidly for a moment, before going back to what they were doing.
((these guys are a tad hard to provoke, really))
(4) a chime draws your attention to the screen, where you notice that the asteroid is crumbling violently beneath the intense heat of the mining lazer. Clouds of red-hot debris are arcing into space, glowing merrily.

Check size of sporn folder in relation to all else in the system. Then carefully peruse the contents of sporn folder.
(3) you are unable to discover the scope of the sporn, though you are certainly entertained by the quest.

Keep serving.
(4) customers continue to line up throughout the meal hour. You make a tidy sum, and the sound of dining conversation fills the area.

Ever.

(1) even the wall is now silent. You begin to injure yourself.

Wow. Marvel at how they even managed to KNOW about Oodian Cuisine. Commend them and dig in, before trying desperately to clean up when they turn their backs.
(5) At the sight of you digging in to the rather serviceable meal, and the sound of your comments, the creatures emit contented noises, and scurry out of the kitchen.
(4-2) clean-up begins well enough, but soon your injuries put a stop to your efforts. You sit down rather quickly and hold your arm carefully as pain reminds you of the events of the previous day.

Send an FB to get the thing I needed it to get at a pharmacy nearby the library.
(6) You send two more FBs after the first, searching for who knows what.
(5) The first FB returns from the cafeteria, where it has gotten nourishment for you and EeOon. In addition, the FB has a bag from the pharmacist, which it places next to EeOon's sleeping form. Upon reconnecting in its pod, you discover that the bag contains sleeping pills.

Realize I am being watched. Look indignant.
(5-1) your skeletoid features are not easy to manilpulate into any expression. However, you manage somehow ot convey indignation to the watching faces. One (5) speaks to you: Hello? Are you sapient? are you capable of communication? what manner of creature are you?

Keffit-Fum was a little put off by the sheer size of the sporn folder. He wasn't entirely sure that supervisors needed it - after all, he wouldn't be harvested in quite a while. He wasn't even sure he was mature enough for it.

Evaluate if the efficiency of the terminal would improve if the sporn were to be removed. If so, seek a way to move all of it to an external storage medium.
