Alright. Two things.

First, a confession: Due to start of semester chaos, and a turn in a community DF game, I did not get any real world building done for us.

Second, I am now starting to work on the round. It will be up this evening. Welcome back!

Fire into the field more.
"Burn! BURN! HAHAHAH!"
(4) Your lasers actually connect with a boulder about a hundred meters away. The point of contact turns a merry red, and puffs of material spew off into space. The boulder's trajectory changes, but not noticeably yet.

Initiate a new project, the "Alternative Food Initiative", which would involve manipulating the lichen-like Formers for greater suitability as nutritional organisms. This would involve protein enrichment, increases in size and other manipulations. They would need to be grown in a humid, nutritious atmosphere, but their lack of dependence on soil would solve certain problems with the current soil-based and hydroponic growth measures.
(1) As you are working into this being's nourishment cycle, the interfaces have locked you out. either that, orthey are just glitchy for some reason. And now you are feeling quite hungry.

Bring corpse to food court.
Buy it lunch.
Chat about politics.

You know, its kind of weird that we haven't seemed to encounter any others of the Player races. You would think that they would be more common (granted mine are probably all in jail or shot by annoyed neighbors, but still)
(3 v. 4) You fail to escape the curators ... err, the custodians of the mausoleum. They gather around you and attempt to communicate.
(1) you have no idea what they are saying, but the tone seems cheerful, anyway. Maybe they want an invitation to the lunch?

Shit. Must have blown a fuse. Go check it out.
(6) You discover that teh surge protector has triggered, and reset it. Unfortunately, this resets all the electrical devices in the house. The food coolant system hums loudly, the lights all turn on to maximum power, which is notably uncomfortable, the sound systems all come on, which is very loud, smoke alarms and schedule alarms blare, And you hear the sound of running water, for some reason. You notice that the viewscreen is recording your favorite program, so that's good. (you'll have to tel me what that program is like. I was picturing fluffy critters, monkey-like critters, and space. And also a newscast, for some reason.)

See who all my other neighbors are.
You live in a juncture point between biomes. You have several families of sleek otter-like creatures nearby, and live in a small enclave of your own kind (I forget if you came to the station alone. If so, feel free to correct this point). Next to the dry portion of your home is a wide, open area filled with low vegetation and large, lumbering quadrupeds. their skin is shiny like metal but flexible like ... skin. They manipulate things with all four appendages, but they have to sit back to do so (now I am thinking of Winnie the Pooh eating from a honey pot.) outside the liquid part of your home is a moving stream. here, it is an enclosed tunnel with lighting and several enclaves in which various underwater creatures live. many of them are non-sapient. You ave been trained very carefully to distinguish sapient from non, as have all the beings on the Station. elsewhere, the stream broadens and rises to form a creek, which flows through some park-like areas. The stream is actually a small network of interconnected waterways, and the flow is artificially maintained.

I just realized I never posted a turn.

Have an FB go over and politely ask the thing to stop eating my leaves, then proceed over to the pods if the thing wants to talk.
(1) Your FB skiters over to the geriatric looking being, and crashes into it. The being grabs onto a branch with it's beak to keep from falling. Now it is dangling comically from you, and looking somewhat alarmed. Poor fellow.

Go back up the tube, gain access via most sensitive orifice available.
(you weren't in a container at this point, just in the garbage pile)
(1 v. 1) Sensing your opportunity, you slither your way toward your prey. He attempts to regather his container to capture you. Your movements casue a mini avalanche, and you slide down opposite sides of a trash heap, with trash piling on top of you.

Well your race has no sensibility whatsoever  :P
Mine just likes to mess with stuff like the automated dish wa-
*sound of spraying water, yelling in alien languages, cries of pain*
oops...

You find yourself ankle deep in the water spraying from the dish washer. It is slowly filling up your food preparation area. Again. (I encourage you, if you haven't, t read through the whole game to date. It isnt necessary, though.)

Send a big FB to stabilize the guy and apologize for knocking him over. Return to the pod if he wants to talk or anything.

Invite the curator people to lunch with myself and the corpse.
Utilize interpretive dance.

Oops... There goes my free lunch...

Start fixing the dishwasher, again. This time, revert the water pressure controls back to default instead of water pulse cannon.

Keffit-Fum intuited that this had taken an unacceptably long time if one considers the results achieved. Clearly, correction is needed. But first, his strands have become weak. They need rejuvenation.

Take quick nutrient bath. When that's done, figure out interface issues.

What Star Wars prequel movies?

Mutilation TV is now a thing:  A popular show amongst carnivorous and otherwise aggressive vertebrate races in which various shows center on such aspects as individual combat, team combat, obstacle courses of danger, and torture. Mutilation TV is a subject of great ethical and moral debates throughout civilized space, and has been the cause of riots, police actions, and even a couple of "small" wars.

Music is most naturally presented through audio devices, but with the love of imagery and the reliance on visual information of so many life forms (Stars being the primary energy source for most, and light being readily available as a result), naturally the two are combined in many ways, from musicals to music videos to interpretive art. there are programs that show simple nature scenes with some artistic addition, such as a woodwind or an artificially colored landscape.  There are programs in which a single tone is played and a single color is presented, though for such static programs, simple handheld devices or home decor programs are encouraged over the use of public transmission traffic. There is even a program that runs a continuous feed from a camera and microphone pointed at a black hole. This program is generally derided by all but a few eccentrics, intellectuals, and suicidals.

Televised programming is known to be highly addictive to numerous sight oriented races, and has a tendency to bring about social isolation, reduces energy and interest in other activities, and can easily affect the moods, beliefs, and opinions of many Sapient lifeforms. As such, broadcast programs are somewhat restricted on the station: they are without exception Pay Per View, and the more controversial programs are either forbidden or restricted from particular races / age groups.

((I gotta admit, I didn't expect writing the general televised culture into this game would be as interesting.))

((^ Very damn cool, and i totally expect my character to watch those, with the aid of his goggles.

Edit: Actually considering his age, he's probably forbidden. Never stopped him from constructing his personal space TV and radar dish though.))
