What date is the start anyway? Apparently there was a truce on May 22.

Huh. Are you sure they start at war?

Also, apparently the French victory of the hundred years war was due to the arrival of artillery to sieges. I don't think we have access to arty that early?

Not only do they start at war (at least as of the video's release), the situation seems largely tipped in favor of France in the continent.

The Russians used guns against the Tartars before the game start. Unit types aren't 100% historical I guess.

Ok. You are aware Byzantines starts with about 3 provinces and a rather large Ottomans, who will very likely be player controlled?
Yes, I have EU3 and played as byzantium before. Things can get pretty crazy but I have confidence in my ability to survive, even if I do not beat the ottomans.

I guess it's up to us to have confidence in your ability to not ragequit but calmly pick another nation for the second session ;)

This isn't EU3's Grand Campaign Ottomans, this is Mehmed II's big, bad scary Ottomans. Against the AI, I can easily see a player Byzantium surviving, against a player, however, we can just say that, unless you'd like to insinuate your opponent will be a complete moron, Constantinople's fate lies with Allah.

Posted my choices in OP, forgot them XD.

Anyway, I think it's rather destined for byzantium to die under the ottomans' foot, at least by 1444 anyway. Especially if a player controls the ottomans: it's doubtful they'll fall for the "Oh, let's go to Anatolia- oh wait our navy's destroyed and we can't cross over back to europe. Shit."

12 Year old Mehmed, at that. If you're ready to get curbstomped by a 12 year old.

I won't ragequit, I assure you of that. If I do get curbstomped I'll just go for the next country in my list and play as that.

I said 10pm but for me the later is better.

So since i'm bored I updated the list again

Austria ~ Stabymcstabstab
Brandenburg ~ Barbarossa
Burgundy
Castile ~ Castile
England ~ Andrew4250
France ~ Azthor
Muscovy ~ Muscovy
Ottomans ~ Rakonas
Poland
Portugal
Sweden ~ Tarran
Venice

Morocco ~ Inteuniso
Oman ~ Descan
The Hansa ~ Chosrau
Timurids ~ Karlito
Byzantium ~ Deathsword
Novgorod ~ Deathsword after 5 years

If Grand Nagus should play as anyone it should probably be as the Portugese, although that leaves a strong central European power vacant
