Since we never got GM word on how many research rolls to make in the timeskip, I'll go with Cado's number of five. I made two, so...

Cantrips: [50+49]
Healing: [100!+49]
Ice Magic: [51+49]

Wow. Awesome.

Actually, using magic you're not trained in gets a -50 penalty to rolls.6

Well, we had a couple weeks to study.

But I think so. That's how it worked for the first timeskip.

Oh, and you have a -50 to use them. Mitigated by bonuses for succeeding on the rolls.

49 or less gets you nothing.
50-99 gets you the ability to use it and a +1 bonus (helps offset the -50 penalty).
100+ gets you +5!

EDIT: Wait, isn't that water magic? And that's Angel's specialty.. so you wouldn't get -50 because it's her field of magic. It's only -50 if it isn't your field of expertise.
