I would love it if some of those I've aided in past wars could spare a bit of cash to fuel my growth - two successful wars in a row today have left my GDP a little bit higher than I feel safe defending (837 GDP), and I'd love to get up to WWII surplus as quickly as possible.

...by the way, that soldiers scheme you mentioned earlier in the thread? It's intriguing, and I'm filling them in on it right now...
What soldier's scheme? I don't exactly remember or know what you're talking about.

Nations under 115GDP can spam humanitarian aid. If supplied with enough cash from the outside *wink wink* they can send out soldiers like a factory, limited quite literally by only their manpower.

I'll wait for a green light from you before sending over cash from my nation though.
Go ahead, there's no rule I know of that prevents this. It also wasn't my idea, I'm not that clever.
I'm fairly certain Rumsod wouldn't appreciate blatant exploitation of the game.

I'll send 900k tomorrow, I've already thrown my cash Saoni's way.

People keep their GDP low all of the time to spam troops, and I have yet to see anyone get banned for it. Feel free to ask in IRC to make sure.

If he doesn't want people to optimize their actions he should make actions that are less easy to optimize. It's called game design. This is a common excuse of browser game designers. They lack the technical skill to create more complex games and for the same reason they lack the mathematical skill to make balanced gameplay. I don't mean this to be insulting but its an extremely common trend that I've experienced in almost every browser game not made by a large company.

Its just illogical to punish players for using game mechanics that you put into the game. They aren't responsible for the implementation, the designer is.

Pretty sure this happens in real life too... countries under-reporting/hiding their wealth and prosperity to get free aid from wealthy nations

Does anyone know if growth from free elections is related to reputation? When I was in the green it worked every time, but 6 consecutive attempts have failed at normal or lower. Just bad luck and coincidence?

I'm glad a majority of you don't go on the Bloc forums, because it's the biggest, most diverse mixture of idiots I've ever seen. Going on it makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Not THAT bad, just slightly above it. It's a bunch of people simultaneously complaining about irrelevant drama with a mixture of radical idiots from both sides of the political spectrum trying to spread their ideas amongst the community. I just wanted a cold war simulator, dammit.

Some days I think I should just make remake all the browser games I play because they always have so much easily improved stuff. But then I remember how god invented PHP to punish humanity for turning their back on him.

The forums sound like the Nationstates forums of yore.
