The guide, which one is that? I've seen the general and the diplomacy guides, neither of those helped me join an alliance (and I already knew how to create one, which isn't my intention). Is there another guide I should be looking for?

The game is complicated enough to need guides? Either I'm missing some serious features or there's a lot of maths-stuff in there.

How much damage does bombing actually do?

Wondering if an air force might be a good deterrent for low level nations?

I believe, from what I have read on the forums, Growth and Oil Well Damage.

I guess long term, since conscription takes from growth, and without cash Martial Law is similarly useless. However, it has no effects (as far as I can tell) on current forces.

Don't airforces give a small bonus to infantry battles? I remember reading that somewhere, not entirely sure if it's true.
