I don't mean NOW, but this kind of game gets boring fast when your not trying to topple the local superpower.

I'm just sitting here at 556 GDP. How the hell are you attacking someone every 12 hours and not becoming axis of evil?
Not attacking people with Green reputations primarily, although the list of actual targets is really drying up it seems.

I don't mean NOW, but this kind of game gets boring fast when your not trying to topple the local superpower.
Little things first. We haven't even properly introduced ourselves to the international community yet. Even if we DID want to attack them (Which we don't), we'd have to spend a long time getting multiple nations to WW2 technology and start developing chemical weapons. I'll personally be developing gas weapons relatively soon, but it's somewhat risky as you can mess up and hamper your growth, and you need to do it five times. I'd ask for people to contribute cash, but I don't think that's really fair to other people just so I can get a shiny new weapon.

I think before we even attempt to war with any major faction or even minor faction, we should have everyone near 500 GDP and WW2 tech, at the very least. Everyone being at 500 means there should be plenty of cash to flow around to those that need it the most.

Nicotal here. Cotalia will be glorious.

I will not join your Union I think, yet, but will happily involve myself as a possible ally and future member.

Would it be effective for larger nations to give much of their income to smaller nations perhaps?

Also, how worth it is it to push for crates after the first buy, when should I switch over to doing that instead of building free hospitals for the people.

Yes, that's primarily how wars are won. Since large nations rarely go to war with other large nations, they just fund their allies who are at war with troops and cash. Don't expect to get this big if you don't join an alliance though, because once you start hitting 500 GDP a lot of people are in alliances. Once you hit 700 GDP EVERYONE is in an alliance, and they'll all be looking to attack non-allied nations for a quick GDP boost.

Right away, WW1 Tech is vital if you plan on declaring any wars (Which you should to quickly boost GDP.) After you get your crate, then save up for a hospital for a quick approval and QoL boost. Once you get your stability and approval to the highest level, you don't really need to put anymore money into those because they'll pretty much just boost each other each turn for being high.

You can start focusing on getting WW2 tech once you get to 600-700 GDP, and it requires 40 Lee-Enfield crates. You should keep track of how many you're buying, and spend a majority of your GDP on crates once you get to this point. Also keep in mind the QoL drops faster the higher it is, and drops every two turns. It's not necessary to keep it at maximum, because at higher GDP's it's a massive money sink, but if you keep it at around average then it'll drop relatively slowly and allow you to easily boost it back up with the cheaper QoL policies.

The Great Revolutionary Democratic People's Republic of Greater Vestra Has risen in Africa. Long live Dear Leader Vernier and her benevolent reign.

Built a hospital and a school right off the bat. Now I just need to tend to my stability.

I have now requested glorious union of Cotalia with UBA with knowledge of generosities providing me with funds.

I will do as you have said and begin the wars while also hoping that money is delivered by my new allies as you have described.

I do not know how to actually join though.

I think Bd has to invite you. I'm not sure if any of us are really able to give you funds/troops. I mean, if you already started a war and nobody else is willing, I can probably give you some cash and 10k troops, but I would be hurting pretty badly. My troops are already sort of low and a bit undertrained, seeing as how I still have a really low reputation which means a lot of people will be looking at me like I'm a nice squishy target.

edit: Fuuuuuushit

Lonras has had UN sanctions imposed upon it due to the supposed ill repute of the current regime, reducing our GDP! These imperialist dogs have no shame...

It's not a large GDP drop, so you're mostly safe in the lower reputations so long as you don't go down to axis of evil level.

So how do you even declare wars/find nations to declare war on?
I need to stretch my army muscles.

Check the "World" page, looking for nations around 150% of your GDP that aren't allied and have an army of about 5k or less, since you won't take any losses from attacking.

So made a slight spreadsheet comparing us to the AU, obviously this is not going to be surprising that we are completely dwarfed by them, seeing as how we are very new still, but uh... 12430 GDP vs 78167 GDP. Their top 10 members actually make up more than our entire GDP combined. Actually their top 4 members make up our entire GDP combined. The immensely scary part? There's parts of the other alliances that have 200 members and the goon members stationed in Africa. For the love of all that is holy do not attack anyone that is in an alliance we will be utterly crushed and reset to 95 GDP.

How should I factor in training to that?
Because I found one person who fits all those criteria, but has elite trained military of 2k.

EDIT: Forget that, I found a nation that is unambiguously weaker than me.

Basically as far as I can tell, training messes with battle mechanics, but you should be fine to attack that person because they have 5k or less troops. Normally you want the same level and many more troops, or a higher level and a few more troops, but anyone at or under 5k is fair game, as long as they are not in an alliance.

edit: Also, attacking anyone with a reputation that is not red will result in your own reputation being lowered. Do NOT go into axis of evil, or the UN will reset your nation (50% chance every 12 hours) until you climb out of axis of evil.
