So what does the "beg your bloc for aid" thing do? Free soldiers, money, oil? You have to be at war with a member of the opposite bloc, but it seems very useful.

There's a random chance to get free soldiers, money, oil, an aircraft (Possibly only if you have an airforce already?), or nothing.

Find a target at least 75% of your GDP who seems to be inactive or weak (Low stability, low quality of life, love approval, etc) and make sure you have somewhat near twice their army, and better training. You should be fine as long as they're not apart of an alliance.

You cannot decrease your army below 10K to get extra growth, and wanting to decrease your army is stupid. If someone declares war on you, and attacks you when you have less than 5K troops they instantly win.

Seriously, don't do that. If you randomly declare war on someone in an alliance for no raisin, you will be dropped faster than you can say "Why is my growth so low suddenly?"

So should I be at war attacking weaker/inactive opponents all the time? I have 10k soldiers, they're undisciplined rabble and they have first world war equipment. I just built a hospital (no idea if a good idea). My GDP is $110 million and growth is $5 million. Should I attack someone to speed up progress?
