Action: Put those hostages to sleep! Sedately.

You use your meditool to incapacitate your hostages, sedately. But this doesn't come without comment.

"See you on the other side," Foren says with a smile, just before she succumbs to the drug. Roughly ten seconds later, an alarm sounds.

There aren't any security klaxons in the halls, nor is there an elaborate detection system. The alarm is simply a message playing over the intercom.

"Attention mercenaries. If you're hearing this, I am dead or otherwise incapacitated. Please comb the establishment for the perpetrators. Hurry, before they get to Confinement." The calm message began to loop. If there was ever a time for picking up the pace, this was the time.

Grab a pair of knuckles then relax my body to loosen up and wait for him to come to me. When he does so step closer to him so he can't use the staff and aim for his gut. Hard.

You arm your self with a pair of brass knuckles, forfeiting your bonus. You and your opponent have a standoff, looking in each other's eyes, tracking each other's movements. He makes no effort to attack. He simply keeps his distance. Soon, the audience gets annoyed with the wait.

"Punch him!" "Hurry, before my teeth rot!" "Send in the dogs!" they chanted. Still, your opponent waits for you to come to him.

"Interesting! Let's accomplish our objectives, eh?"

Go inside the mainframe room, dragging everyone we have with us inside as well, and close the door in an inconspicuous fashion. Stand slightly away from door, instruct one of the less mentally present teammates to go and do the mainframe mambo, steal data, that kind of thing. Guard over door while inside the room in the meantime with the arc welder, slightly away from the door in a lateral direction.

Alexis looks back at the crowd for a moment.

"Any of you care to come down here and say that to my face? No? THEN SHUT UP!!!! Before I punch your teeth out the back of your head."

Alexis charges at him then goes for a sliding kick aiming to take out his legs and punching upwards into his groin at the same time.

Action: Time to escape, I guess? do the mainframe mambo, steal data, that kind of thing

The mainframe room is filled with giant databanks, lining the walls and leading down the middle of the room. The room is very warm, and lit with red lights. You approach the master terminal. Equipped with the decryptor module, you start the process of forcing your way through the mainframe security. The module says it will take about eight minutes to decrypt the data. Meanwhile...

Upstairs, Momo Sec mercs are gathering in the reception area. Six of them enter the room Armoth is stationed in talking among themselves hurriedly.

"Okay, we know they're with the scientist. McCoy, take this card and determine her card's location." The commander then turns to Armoth. "You, lock down all entrances, set out a general alert notice, and make sure to call us if they come this way." McCoy runs over to the maintenance terminal in the wall and begins searching for the needed info. The other mercs start fiddling with their weapons, and shortly after more arrive. If you wanted to do something to hinder their progress, now would be the time to do it.

You rush in with a sliding kick, but he was prepared. He jumps slightly off the ground and kicks you in the face, sending you flat on your back, the back of your head hitting the concrete. You feel a bit dazed, and you're now prone. You only have a couple seconds before he ends the fight in one violent motion.

Quickly assess options from my terminal. What doors can I close and alarms can I sound?

Roll aside and kick his knee hard to break it.

Quickly assess options from my terminal. What doors can I close and alarms can I sound?

You can send out a general alert notice, like the captain says, which would alert the authorities. You can also send out a focused alert notice to the mercenaries in the establishment. From this terminal, you are able to seal all doors with security override. You can also open most of the doors, except for the S class doors.

Roll aside and kick his knee hard to break it.

You roll, once again, away from the man's attack. This time, however, your counter attack is much more successful. You kick him in the knee, and although you don't think you broke it, you did some serious damage. He's forced to the ground, and he drops his weapon. Now he's wide open.

Will the guards have access to, or be aware of, any alert I put out for the Dreads?

Stamp down on his gut.

(( Do I still get my bonus if I don't actually hit him with my weapons? ))

"General alert in progress, sir!" (Don't send the alert)

*look down at monitor with a worried expression* "Report of armed intruders near room B1 with some of our staff in tow."

I want to act again as soon as the armed men aren't in the room, assuming they sprint downstairs.

Start setting up my faithful boom-boom right about now. Don't use too much - utilize engineering abilities to identify good spots to place the explosives in order to collapse the mainframe room and destroy the mainframe.

Make sure to leave the unconscious vesuan who we don't need to retrieve right around here. Have the slack-jawed individuals stand at the door, ready to shoot any and all who try to enter.
