Lokk-Agar picks himself up off of the floor, and dusts himself down.  "Well.  That was...  excessive."  As he is checking through his gear for damage, he suddenly remembers something that was mentioned earlier.
"That voice, was that the sword that the dread mothers are guarding?  It could be a useful tool, especially as it seems to have no love for it's captors.  I'm going to go investigate, as you seem to have the mainframe covered here.  If I meet any severe resistance I'll lose them and head back here, don't worry."

After dusting myself off and checking for any gear damage, check the corridor to see if the blast dealt with the people outside.  If it did, head toward the voice as stealthily as possible.  If there are any survivors, spit acid at them before continuing, unless there a lot of them, in which case stay with the others and draw my rifle.

JECTION PHARM, LEVEL -2
Turgidly checks out the decryption to find it still has five minutes to go. He can force the decryption, but he might fuck it up and set the module back a few minutes. The fortified mainframes may be resistant to ballistic fire, but energy weapons might have a decent impact.

Lokk-Agar checks outside, but it's hard to see the full effect of the blast with all the dust in the air. You can hear coughing and screaming coming from the south. "Four hot!" one voice cries out. "One hot! R&R!". After that, the hall quiets down. The way seems clear of enemies. Lokk climbs over the huge pile of rubble and heads west, towards Confinement. The air is still thick with dust, he can only see about five feet in front of him... But there's this sound in the air. Some kind of low buzz. It's only too late that Lokk recognizes the sound of plasma whirring. An arrow cuts through the air and plants itself into Lokk's right shoulder. The plasma tip boils his blood and melts his bone, causing an unimaginable searing pain. Instinctively, Lokk jumps to the side, fearing the worst. That fear saves his life, as a battered Dread Mother slices the air where he once stood with her laser-edge blade.

JECTION PHARM, LEVEL 1
Armoth would find his terminal still in working order, though now covered by a layer of dust. The two mercenaries that were on guard rush inside, weapons ready.

"Eleven calling out! Come in, over!" you hear one cry into his radio. The other runs up to the desk.

"You, guard. What's going on down there?!"

THE CISTERN
"What do you get? Surely you've heard of Sellswords before? Sponsors are essential for any Sellsword to make real money. Real money... A lot of money. Contacts, trainers, protection, adventure. Do these not entice you?"

Across the room, on the other side of the arena, a degwalker waits for the next round to start. Does he find himself down here in the Depths very often? Who knows. All I know is this charismatic asshole was ready to make some money.

Dum-de-dum-de-dum, waiting for the data to decrypt so we can get the hell out, dum-de-dum...

While doing this, make sure to not be standing in an easily visible position.

Also, check on that Vesuan dude we sedated previously. Do we look sufficiently similar for me to pass for him under conventional inspection? Not by a fellow Vesuan, of course, but by any old guard and so forth.

" Sure I guess, now I've got money to make. "

Watch fights, study fighters and remember weak sides and injury, place the normal bets on myself.

"Something....something went wrong with the Project. Some of ours insisted on going down, then...then all this."

"Lockdown is fucked, but the general alert still works. Dreads went down to deal with it. My radio got scrapped, we need a couple men upstairs to make the civvies keep their heads down."

"Shit, shit!" Lokk-Agar cursed as waves of agony passed through him.  How had he not seen the Dread Mother?  That mistake had almost cost him his life, and still might.  Deciding that the situation was indeed quite desperate, he decided now would be a good time to call upon that fire spirit of his.  Drawing on the spirit, he unleashed a blast of fire toward the Dread Mother.

Use the fire spirit to blast a wave of fire at the Dread Mother.  If this fails to kill her, draw my knife with my good arm, and attempt to spit acid at her.

((Sorry everyone for the sporadic posting, things have been very hectic at my end.))

JECTION PHARM, LEVEL -2
Turgidly examines the hostage. He looks similar to Turgidly, though his skin is slightly paler and he's a bit shorter. A random merc probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but a guard familiar with the hostage would see through the ruse.

[MAG CRIT] Lokk-Agar channels the spirit given to him by the old master. He remembers the words Azikai told him, and forces the power of the wisp through his palms. Not only does the minor fire sprite surge forth successfully, several other spells nearby meld into your sprite and amplify the effects. The power of this new wisp is almost too much for you to handle, but something about this region of the Flux bolsters your Attunement.

A mix of fire, lightning, and kinetic force jets forth, blasting the Dread Mother back into the high sec door. The dust in the air around you immediately dissipates as it's blown away by the force of the blast. You can now clearly see the two Mothers on the ground in front of the now dented door. You feel your fire spell is still with you.

As a side note, the plasma arrow in your arm fizzled out. But the arrow itself remains lodged into your shoulder.

JECTION PHARM, LEVEL 1
The guard looks over to the staircase, then back to Armoth.

"You, stay here an--" he starts before being interrupted by the sound of boots running up the stairs.

"Corporal!" the merc from before yells as he comes up the stairs, followed by another merc. They're both covered in dust, cuts, and bruises, and the merc following the commander is limping behind. "Call everyone we have, abandon general security ops. We need to secure that weapon at all costs." With that, he draws a medical needle from his pack and injects himself with it.

"Y-yes sir! Calling all units, to the op centre: first floor, anteroom. Abandon all posts!"

THE CISTERN
Bekter looks for the wealthiest man in the room, but that's hard to judge around these parts. You can go with one of the actual bet takers, or you can go with someone in the stands. The scariest looking person is usually the richest, or is associated in some way with the richest thug or boss. Both options can be lucrative, but going with an off-counter bet will be riskier.

Place bets with the bet takers placing the most lucrative possible bets on the girl to win.

Smear self with dust and other similar stuff if I'm not covered in it already, do the same with the hostage. Try slouching a little, see if I look similar enough to the hostage to pass under reasonable inspection. Check progress on the mainframe. If not done yet, take a moment to trade outfits with the hostage dude.

((Is the arm usable?))

Draw my knife and smear the blade with acid spit.  Use this to finish off the downed dread mothers before continuing toward the sword.  If either dread mother recovers before I close on them, blast them with fire instead.

Wait for fight after placing my bets, study all the fights and remember relevant details on any injuries sustained, weak side, fighting styles and so on for whoever I end up facing.
